message 101: by Alyssa Giselle (new)

Alyssa Giselle Good day to ya'll! I'm Giselle from LasPinasCity. 23yrs of age. :) Am an BSHRM student, currently taking up my internship at Best Western Plus Antel Hotel in Makati. Though i maybe busy as a bee lately i still find time to read. I have been actually sucked into reading since last year and i'm proud that i still am. I would love to buy the books i wanna read itself rather than reading e-books, but sadly im in a strict budget. :))

Some of my favorite standalone books so far are Love Like The Movies, Wallbanger, Can You Keep a Secret, Flat Out Love and Fault in Our Stars. And some of my fave book series are Lunar Chronicles, Charley Davidson, Blood of Eden, The Tiger Saga and The Grisha.

I hope to meet new people here and be friends with the lot of you guys.So don't hesitate to add me up! :D

Ritz Cruz hello guys! I'm Rita, 30 y.o., and working at an IT company.

I don't have any particular genre of books that I stick to. But for some reason, I don't like happy endings. Don't worry I'm not a negative person (haha). It's just that the 'not happily ever after' can stimulate your 'what if' thoughts.

anyway, I'm glad to join this group, to get tips, most especially bargain books hunting =D.

Thanks!

Lawrence Gleason Hi, I'm Lawrence. I'm the co-author of Yolanda: Super Storm Haiyan, now sold on Barnes and Noble (where there is a free 20-page sample), Amazon and Kobo.
The book is the result of 10 weeks of interviews with Yolanda survivors in the worst hit areas of Northern Leyte after the storm that made history and world-wide news. I and my co-writer, Cora Jularbal of Leyte, hope that as many filipinos as possible know about the only book written about recorded history's greatest storm. Thanks. Salamat.

Study first priority, but there should always be time for reading ha! You only study for a few years, but you read for a lifetime.

G.S.A. Gotteskind Hi everyone!

Gotskie here—that’s my nickname for this pen name. 😊

I just stumbled across this group and thought I'd say hello, kahit na tahimik lately.

I'm an indie author, and I just published my first book, Sibuyas: Behind the Layers. It explores relationship dynamics and reveals every layer the main character wears.
https://play.google.com/store/books/d...

I’d love to connect with fellow readers (and writers!) who appreciate stories that peel back the layers of being a human —the kind that stir a mix of emotions because, unexpectedly, you see yourself in the pages.

Any book or character that made you feel intensely lately?
Would love to hear from anyone still hanging around here.

Also, feel free to connect with me through these links.
