Hmm, ako at oldest dito yet. AJ from Pampanga/Cainta. 30 and working in a call center (surprise surprise!). I prefer fantasy/gothic/sci-fi like Anne Rice, Neil Gaiman, and stuff from all those YA fiction. I'm waiting with bated breath for the Hunger Games movies and I totally avoided The Percy Jackson movie coz I knew it totally dissed the book. =P Oh I have never read the Twilight Series - I prefer my vampires to be deadly and conflicted like Anne Rice's. And I prefer they don't shimmer. ^^ . Or Bob Ong. Slow ako magbasa ng Tagalog. I have to read stuff out loud.

True. I follow the HG Fan Page. They regularly update the page with the casting and even releasing some Entertainment Weekly photos. There are even fanmade music made inspired by the books. Astig.

me too im a big fan of hunger games...can't wait for the movie!!! although i don't like the guy who will portray Peeta but they've got Liam Hemsworth as Gale anyway, so i guess im down with that!!!!

Yeah! Yeah! I'm kind of disappointed w/ the character who will play Peeta! I so love Peeta pa naman! xDDD
But I hope that he will portray it well!

hello aj.guess what--you're not the oldest na!hehe.i totally agree with you,the percy jackson movie was a total waste :( maghahabol ako ngayon to read the hunger games--very limited kasi ang available na books here in the province.meanwhile i'm trying really hard to avoid spoilers :)

I'm JL from QC, also a Software Enginner. I'm a newbie here at Goodreads.com. I've just discovered this site and this group while searching for a review of Samantha Sotto's Before Ever After (haven't bought the book yet, what a surprise to find that it was written by a Filipina author!).

Growing up with Choose Your Own Adventure and Hardy Boys books, my curiosity has greatly expanded the genres I find delight in: Fantasy, Graphic Novels, Comics, Speculative Fiction, Sci-Fi, YA, Dystopian novels, Autobiographies, Romance, Filipiniana, Philosophy, Psychology, Comparative Religion, Spiritual, Inspirational, Financial, Political and Leadership books, Poetry and Essays. Though chick-lit seems to be my limit.

Anyway, nice to be part of this group :)
