James Field Hello everyone,

I’m looking for ARC readers for my upcoming novel, White Silence, Red Justice, which releases on 16 July.

It’s a dark Arctic supernatural thriller set in northern Norway — a slow-burning story of murder, guilt, Saami spirituality, psychological unease, and an older kind of justice.

A remote motel. Snowbound isolation. Brutal deaths. A woman born to become a shaman. An English engineer haunted by blackouts and a ghost he cannot explain.

This one is intended for adult readers and contains violence, murder, blood, supernatural themes, and dark emotional material. It is not a cosy mystery or a fast action thriller, but more atmospheric, bleak, and psychological.

If you enjoy Nordic noir, supernatural suspense, literary thrillers, or stories where old sins come due, you may enjoy this.

ARC copies are available here: https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopi...

There is no pressure, of course, but if you request a copy and are able to leave an honest review around release, I would be very grateful.

Thank you,

James Field

Wow! It is a 500 page whopper James - I am totally in! But I don't use StoryOrigin and prefer not to, ever since they require us to include links to our private and password-protected Amazon and Goodreads pages. If you are willing to send me the pdf or epub copy of your novel on my email then I will prioritize it, read it and review it on Goodreads and Amazon.in by June 2026 much before the date of the book's release.

Fiza Pathan's email: pathan.fiza@gmail.com

It is the same email that you already have under my name since our interview.

I'll also try and upload the review on Fable and StoryGraph. Looking forward to the free ARC copy of your book James. All the best for the release of your Arctic thriller. And I do sooooo love Arctic Thrillers! Because the temperatures in Mumbai, India, where I reside (as you know well), are always 45 degrees Celsius on average, and now, in the Summer, they are going up to 55 degrees Celsius.

Hope you see this message. Lots of love! God be with you!

- Fiza Pathan :) :D <3

James Field Hi Fiza,

How lovely to hear from you — and thank you so much! I’d be delighted to send you a copy by email. I completely understand about StoryOrigin, so no problem at all.

Yes, it is a bit of a whopper, isn’t it? I seem to have written a snowstorm with chapters attached. I’ll send you the PDF/EPUB directly to the email address I already have for you from our interview.

And 55 degrees Celsius! Good grief. I honestly don’t know how anyone stays upright in that sort of heat. I’m sitting here writing about snow, darkness, murder, and Arctic silence while you’re probably melting into the pavement. Perhaps White Silence, Red Justice can serve as emergency literary air conditioning.

Thank you again, Fiza. I really appreciate your kindness, support, and willingness to review it on Goodreads, Amazon.in, and possibly Fable and StoryGraph too. That’s incredibly generous of you.

I hope you’re keeping well, and I’ll send the copy over shortly.

Lots of love,
James
