Hello and welcome to the group.

Hello Austin, and welcome to the group!

Hello Jane and welcome to the group!

I love to read and write anything paranormal romance. My favorite characters are those with dry sense of humor and that don't need rescuing all the time.
I'm looking forward to both finding new reading material through this group, and possibly showing my work to others in hope that they enjoy it!

Hello and welcome to the group, Amy. And congratulations on your forthcoming books!

Hello and welcome to the group, Kalvin!

I am a new author and avid reader/audiobook listener. I am really into works of fantasy. Currently listening to the new Stormlight Archive book and enjoying it. I recently wrote and published my first book this past month. Proud of it, but a little embarrassed to show to friends and family as I have no idea how it holds up and feels a bit like exposing myself ya know. If you got some advice pertaining to that I would appreciate it a ton.

I am a new author, just published my first book through Amazon KDP last week. My story is about relationship and romance, and this first book is about betrayal. I'm new to everything about publishing a book or being an author and I want to learn from all of you here.

I am an indie author with (currently) three available books. Not Ideal and Other Stories (2023), The Unlovable Molly Barr (2024), and Bound: A Collection (2025). I'm new to Goodreads, so I am still getting my footing here. Excited to see what this group is all about!

Hello Chris and welcome to the group!

I’m excited to join this group and connect with fellow book lovers and writers! My name is Linda Ann Sánchez, and I have a deep passion for storytelling, especially when it comes to sharing personal journeys of resilience, identity, and healing.
I love discovering new reads and supporting indie authors. I know how much heart and dedication goes into self-publishing, and I’m always eager to engage in meaningful discussions about writing, books, and the creative process.
I’d love to learn more about this community—what genres do you love to read or write? What’s a book that has deeply impacted you? Looking forward to connecting and growing alongside you all! 📚✨

Psalms of Diaspora is also his fourth book and his third poetry collection.
He has also participated in numerous international book fairs.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and has pursued studies in various fields, including literature, language, and mental health.
His works delve into the complexities of the human psyche, exploring themes of love, identity, culture, and the broader human experience. Through the interplay between self and other, he employs symbolism and surrealism to reveal hidden truths, seamlessly blending rational thought with the unconscious. Rooted in both personal and shared experiences, his writing bridges imagination and reality, integrating these elements within a holistic view of the surrounding world.

I’m new to this group but also new to publishing. I recently self-published (through KDP) my very first poetry book. It features my original romantic poetry and multi-media artworks. I would be happy for anyone to check it.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to exploring this group more.

Hello Kori and welcome to the group!
This group is heavy in the fiction genre, but we do have some non-fiction authors and books. You might check out the "non-fiction" and "memoir" shelves of the Group Bookshelf to see if anything there looks interesting.

Hello M.A.R. and welcome to the group!

Hello and welcome to the group, Josh!

what a lovely place to be!
My name is Cathelijne and I am a Dutch SP author of the metaphysical non-fiction kind. So far I have written 7 books for adults in this genre and 1 for kids. The 9th book is on the way to the printer as we speak;-)
The only downside is they are all in Dutch and I am not sure if there are any Dutch authors / readers in this group.
Still trying to figure out how all the reviewing works, but am an avid reader so would love to join in.
I love curling up on the sofa with a good book, and my four cats whilst hoping my hubby will bring me a cup of tea;-)
Looking forward to getting to know other authors.

Hello and welcome to the group, Clarissa. What a great story about meeting Whoopi Goldberg!
(I similarly "met" Robert Englund (from V and A Nightmare on Elm Street), although I don't remember what my smooth comment was. :) )

I'm Belle, and I just started my self-publishing journey this June. I'm really excited to be part of this group filled with amazing indie authors where we can support and learn from one another.
A little about me — I'm a Canadian immigrant who moved here three years ago. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to reflect on and wrap up the first chapter of my life — the one I spent in Hong Kong, the place I once called home.
With deep roots in both Hong Kong and Macau, two cities shaped by colonial histories, I’ve always been inspired by the rich, hybrid cultures that bloomed there — especially the food. One of my favorites is the iconic egg tart, which inspired the title of my book: Yellow Tart.
Feel free to check it out if you get the chance — I’d truly appreciate any feedback!
