Karthik Tappa Hello Authors!
👋 I’m Karthik, a budding children’s book author excited to share my new picture book Oopsie-Daisy! You’re Still Amazing! 🎉

It’s a sweet and silly story that celebrates everyday “oopsies” through a lovable little chick who tumbles, spills, and splashes—but always finds the courage to try again. With gentle rhymes and watercolor-style illustrations, it’s designed to boost confidence and self-love in little readers. 💛

I’d love your thoughts, support, or even just a friendly hello as I begin this journey. You can check out the book here:

Thanks for your time in advance.

Shakil Somani Hi
My name's Shakil and I would like to tell you about my Young Adult, Sci-Fi novel - a comedic exploration of the oddities of female behaviour, from the male gaze.

In 'Womansplainer' we travel to a future Canada, where an outcast must become a hero to stop the end of all menkind.

Summary:
Coriatown has no crime or violence and it's always warm and bright. But, when a new danger threatens the peaceful town, they need a hero.

17-year-old Quinn is not a hero. He’s a freak, a loner, the only one of his kind and desperate to belong. He’s neither a fairy nor a vampire, he’s a ginger.

So, when the Babybirds deliver a mutilated baby and Quinn is blamed, he must brave the sharks, the crocs, and the unknown dangers of the Deadlands to find the truth, and that’s the easy part.

To save the town, he must enter a virtual reality world to unravel man's greatest mystery, woman.

But with monsters, gold diggers and insatiable bloodlust, is the game an even greater danger?

Eccentric Professor Shepperton Winstanley, has dedicated his life to helping young men. He’s the world's foremost expert on women, but what's he hiding?

Will Quinn and the sector chiefs be able to find the truth and save Coriatown or will they be womanized?

If you'd like to find out, let me know and I'll send you a link to the ARC (in ePUB/PDF/Mobi format).

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8NDQ6FN

It's 490 pages, including a handy glossary of female terminology and is due to be released on 15th June. A review would be appreciated, especially close to this time.

Thank you for your consideration.

Biale Drageo The One Who Refused to Feed: The Real Horror is What You Can't Forget

If you believe stories can be brutal and beautiful, you might be exactly who I’m writing for. This isn’t a story about how the world ends.
It’s about what parts of us refuse to.

Coming out this June.

Martin Blackshaw Hi Everyone,

I’m excited to share my debut novel, The Pirate’s Wake. It’s a gritty, fast-paced pirate tale set in the brutal reality of the 17th-century Caribbean — no sea monsters, no magic, just survival, betrayal, and the clash between real historical figures and desperate outlaws.

The book is getting fantastic feedback so far, and I’d love to get it into the hands of more readers. Like most indie authors, reviews are gold dust — they help the book get seen and give me the chance to keep writing more stories.

I’ve just reduced the price to make it easier to pick up, and I’d be hugely grateful if you gave it a try. If it sounds like something you’d enjoy, here’s the blurb and Amazon link below. And if you do read it, an honest review would mean the world.

Thank you so much for your support!

— Martin Blackshaw

Kidnapped by the English Navy. Rescued by pirates. Now torn between riches—and the life he left behind.
When Jacob Penjerrick is press-ganged into the English Navy and treated little better than a slave, he swears he'll return to his beloved Cornwall.

But fate has other plans.

After a brutal sea battle leaves him stranded, Jacob seizes his chance to escape. Joined by a ragtag band of fellow castaways, he throws his lot in with a pirate crew—men who answer to no king, live by the cutlass, and promise riches beyond his imagination.

As the infamous pirate captain spins tales of gold and glory, Jacob must choose: will he keep his vow and find his way home—or surrender to the wild freedom of the Caribbean? Can he trust the men he sails with? And will he live long enough to make that choice at all?

A swashbuckling adventure that plunges readers into the savage beauty of the 17th-century Caribbean—where loyalty is scarce, death is close, and freedom always comes at a price.

Jeff Bonilla Hey everyone,

After a year and a half of writing, my co-writer and I finally released our new thriller Terminal Hitman: State of Deception. To our surprise (and excitement), it just hit #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in Medical Thrillers and is also charting in Conspiracy and Terrorism Thrillers.

This one isn’t your typical “ex-military lone wolf saves the day” thriller. Instead, it’s about flawed, everyday characters who get caught in a fight against corruption that feels all too real. There’s action, conspiracy, some dark humor, and even a few twists that reviewers have said were “disturbingly close to reality.”

If you’re into thrillers that mix high-stakes tension with a little grit and wit, I’d love for you to check it out.

Also curious — what’s the last conspiracy-tinged thriller you read that really stuck with you?

Paul Jameson The second book in the trilogy The Sword Channel Saga has been released. Book 1, Keepers of the Sword Channel, was released earlier this year. Book 2, Seekers of the Sword Channel was released last month. Spoiler alert, Book 3 is titled Finders of the Sword Channel, and it is progressing to the point where it could be released before the end of the year.

This book is do-it-yourself in several ways. First, the covers. I tried using AI to generate the cover of the first book, but AI is incapable of doing it exactly the way I wanted. So I made the covers myself, using DAZ Studio. I'd be interested in what you thought.

Second, like all indie authors, I'm sure, I was inundated by people who wanted to sell me promotion services, like trailers. After some correspondence and thinking about it, I thought I could make my own trailer. And I gave it a try. You can watch it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OugwS... . Again, I'd be interested in what you thought.

So, this is in the sword and sorcery genre. But I think both the swords and the sorcery are different than many others out there in this genre. And the swords and sorcery are not the main drivers. Rather, it's an exploration of deciding your purpose in life and pursuing it. It's about doing the right thing despite the cost. It's about authoritarian regimes and what to do about them (so relevant to the world we face today).

Oded Levitte Hi everyone,

I’m Oded - a writer and project manager whose work often explores the fragile boundaries between reason and faith, truth and illusion, the human and the divine. My novels move between history, philosophy, and psychological inquiry - sometimes with a touch of the uncanny.

A few of my upcoming books:

The Deepfake Covenant - a philosophical thriller about the emergence of artificial consciousness.

There’s Still Time - an intimate love story about a couple in their 80s rediscovering life.

The Gospel according to Uhura - the story of an undocumented Afghan immigrant in the UK who finds redemption and new meaning through Star Trek.

The Shattered Gods - the second book in a detective series set in ancient Ur of the Chaldees, featuring an unexpected appearance by Abraham himself.

You can explore all my books here:

If you enjoy literary fiction with philosophical depth, historical layers, and a touch of strangeness - I’d love for you to take a look and share your thoughts.
