'Having read all three of R.J.Dillon's books in cronological order I must write my first ever book review(s).
They were all well written, in a style reminicient of John Le Carre and Len Dieghton.
I believe Mr Dillon writes from a position of knowledge about our governements more secretive security departments.
The booke were thoroughly entertaining, and I felt robbed every time I have had to put down my Kindle for more mundane chore
This is a sign of a very good book to me.
I hope the Mr Dillon can soon follow these superb thrillers with much more, and very soon.

5. GOOD COMMUNICATION AND RESPECT. A lot of people have lost their relationships because of poor communication and lack of respect to the other. Other people are finding themselves on the rocks because of the words they use to their partners while others lost their relationships just because they failed to apologize to their partners. While others are careless in using proper words to their partners. While others fail to appreciate their partners and the words ‘I love you’ died as their partners committed some mistakes before. And when they feel like telling their partners that they love them, they feel that they will be spoiling them. While others inprison themselves by holding offence one has committed in the past forgetting or ignoring that yesterday is history, today is gift that is why they call it present while tomorrow is mystery. They don’t know that if they want to see themselves flying one day, they need to get rid of the weights pulling them down as the abilities of successful people and unsuccessful people are the same. The only difference is their desires. When other people are succeeding in their relationships, everybody else can succeed as well.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the author's forum here on Goodreads, but not the reading side of things, lol. I just published my first paranormal Fantasy, PAWN OF THE GODS on Amazon Kindle. It's an end of the world piece that switches between the 16th and 21st centuries, blending Mayan lore with Spanish history and apocalyptic beliefs. Murder, Vampires and Leprechauns is a novel of three short stories of suspense, action and murder—and, yes, all of them have much humor. In Burgermen, Tom Mayors—a fifty-six-year-old man who still lives at home and hates work of any kind—unbeknownst to his mother quits yet another job, a clerk in a grocery-store. The manager is so angry with him for quitting without giving notice that he threatens to kill him and begins stalking him by phone every night. In the second story, Damn Leprechauns, Tom—because of his mother’s constant pestering—has joined the detective agency of cranky, retired, Homicide Detective James Hurts. They take a case of helping a young man and woman in trouble, only to find out that this young couple is in trouble because they have stolen the pot of gold from some leprechauns. Because of Tom and Jim’s own greed and wanting to keep the gold, the leprechauns kidnap Tom’s mother, Lill. Tom and Jim must come up with a sharp plan to rescue Tom’s mother. In the third story, Hurts’ Christmas Present, Tom has quit the agency and Hurts is on his own. It’s a few days before Christmas, and Hurts takes the case of very precocious, stubborn eleven-year-old girl, Amanda, whose Mother has been arrested for stealing $20,000.00 from her place of employment. During the investigation, Hurts discovers that the mother was framed by three of the six board-members of the company. All the board-members are vampires. Nocturne: Poems of Love, Distance, and the Night, a callous and disinterested lover is a collection of my poetry written from the mid-80’s to mid-90s, a turbulent, fluid time in my life in many ways, but especially romantically. I have taken many of the poems he wrote during those years and compiled them into a dark narrative capturing the emotional turmoil of that time as a narrator, who descends from romantic love for a woman into a lonely world of alcohol and night clubs, where his only love is the night that envelopes him psychologically, emotionally, and physically.
If you like poetry, you will love my book. I have read many of the masters from Shakespeare to Eliot to the Beats to James Merrill and many others.
