As I was only twenty-one at the time, I didn’t feel ready to become a lecturer and declined his kind offer. I decided to write this book instead. The appearance of a mysterious helicopter, a disused shearing shed that's brought back to life, a runaway snake and a deranged shopkeeper keeps this quirky story going right to the end.
