Thanks. And thanks for the suggested link. I've been bouncing around the site and loving it.

I'm so excited to be a part of this group, and hear about what you are reading.

I..."
Welcome. Chocolate Cozies sound divine.

Hello folks,

I am a country girl that trusts God with every curveball God shall throw me, they don't bother me, they add on to the mystery of life. I am a big reader and enjoy mysteries. I love Ornithology, motor vehicles, photography and reading. I bake a lot with my Mom and work a lot with my Dad.
I never give up and am never afraid to had a bit of mud under my nails and holes in my jeans. Have a wonderful day and God bless!
Sincerely,
-Kaitlyn

Hello Nina! Thank you very much, I appreciate it greatly. And thanks for the friend request, I like the selection of genres you are interested in. I enjoy them too! =)
So, how are you doing today, Nina? =)

I am looking forward to meeting new authors and discovering new books.
Hello Ayiana! Good evening, how are you today? Nice to meet you. Welcome to the group, it is nice to have you. I like mysteries and romance as well! And believe it or not, I'd prefer not to say, but I'm not far off from your age either. I think we are both the youngest. Ha ha. Have a nice day and God bless.

I'm just learning my way around the website and I am new to book groups. Is there an easy way to track my group reading lists & challenges, or do I just need to restrict my 'Currently Reading' list?
Thanks

You can keep track of your personal challenges in the Members Reading/Challenge Lists section. Click on "new topic" to set up your own list.

Maybe I misunderstood how these worked...I thought lists created were for individual use? I didn't realize other people would be posting to my lists. Is there a way to make them private?

Pleased to be here :)
I'm Mona, and I'm a cozy reader and writer - I absolutely adore cozy mysteries and am excited to be here to chat about my favourite books with lots of likeminded people.
Like lots of us I think, I was raised on Agatha Christie, Midsomer Murders, Columbo etc by my mum.
I love the escape that a cozy mystery book provides.
Pleased to be here!

I'm in Shropshire, UK, and when I'm not at work (my hubby & I have a boatyard on the canal) I usually have my nose in a book.
Thanks everyone for such an interesting thread.
Lisa

Now I love reading historical mysteries like Emily Bright well. Also I love Joanne Flluke, Laura Child Tea shop mysteries only, James Patterson Women Murder mysteries and the Michael Bennett series too, J. D.Robb in death series, Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series, just name a few. I always have a book in my hand or in my purse.
I live in Virginia near the water. I am an aide to disable vet. I am a widow and I no family or children.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
Pat

Lisa - I live on a sailboat so was really interested to read that you have a boatyard. Are you setting the cozy mystery you're working on in a boatyard? If so, I'd love to hear more about it. Cheers - Ellen

I'm an author and publisher of cozies, the first installments of two separate series will be coming out in Jan 2018!
I am a former journalist and Chicago native living abroad in Thailand.
I have a huge sweet tooth and love animals. I grew up on the mysteries of Agatha Christie and read everything Joan Lowery Nixon ever wrote.
I'm currently reading & loving the Mrs. Murphy Mystery series by Rita Mae Brown.
Excited to be here! :)

I'm starting to like mysteries and thrillers and what not. So I decided to join a mystery group so I could read more of the genre! I'm a psychological thriller and sci-fi fan also.
Hi again, and happy reading!

Do you read a lot of cozies? Who are your favorites?

No, but they seem interesting and I definitely want to broaden my reading horizon, so why not read cozies?

I'm hoping this will be as fun as it seems!!

Thank you Kristen!! I am from Sacramento, CA. And Tahmina is a Persian name. Comes from a Persian book ... so really I had no choice but to love books!

My name is Claire, and I adore a good British, historical cozy mystery! One of my favorite series is the Flavia de Luce series and the Royal Spyness series! Although I love reading cozy mysteries, I also love writing about them! I am a new blogger and I invite you all to check out my blog for reviews of cozies, and some of my favorite series! I'm so excited to find a community that shares the same loves as I do, and I hope to see you over at https://boldtclaire.wixsite.com/clair...

Happy New Year to All.

Happy new year!
My name is Josje, and I´m from the Netherlands. I started reading cozy mysteries about 2 years ago. The Hannah Swensen mysteries by Joanne Fluke were the first cozies I read, and I just loved them! In the meantime I´ve read more cozies and currently I´m reading the Coffeehouse mysteries by Cleo Coyle. I´m hoping to find some good suggestions through this group and read/chat about everyones favourite mysteries.

I'm a former member who's returned to the fold. I live in Columbia, South Carolina, with my husband. We have two grown daughters. I love reading mysteries, especially cozies. My family loves reading also but, alas, not cozies.
I blog about books, mostly mysteries, at Jane Reads, with reviews and author guest posts.
