Tyler Gray Hi everyone :) My name is Stephanie. I love all genres of books for the most part, if it sounds interesting i'll read it. My favorite though is horror and i've always loved vampires. For whatever reason they fascinate me, whether they are horrific scary or in a romance, I love vampires in general.

A.J. Blakemont Greetings, fellow vampires!
I am a reader, writer, and blogger interested in all things dark and mysterious. My favorite genres are science fiction and dark urban fantasy. Hi I'm Jessi. I love all kinds of books and topics. I just had a baby girl almost two months ago. In the six weeks I was off from work I maybe most likely okay I did read the whole black dagger brotherhood series.

Elaine Howlin Welcome, Jessi. I love that series too!!

message 374: by Nadine (new)

Nadine Parker Hello, my name is Nadine. I'm not sure how to say it well, so I just gonna say it. I'M ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH VAMPIRES!! My dad told me when I was around 5 years old Bela Lugosi was my favorite actor. On Sesame Street The Count was always my favorite. However, I suck at math because it's almost like he mesmerized me, so I never learned anything. The original Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies and two of my favorite authors are Anne Rice and Lara Adrian. Respectively the writers of The Vampire Chronicles and The Midnight Breed Series. I even have a story in my head that I am wanting to write about Vampires which will probably be at least a trilogy once written.... I think I may have posted this introduction in another area on this group.

message 375: by MadameZelda (new)

MadameZelda Welcome, Nadine! I love all the black-and-white horror movies. Ro me, Bela Lugosi is THE dracula. I love the Sesame Street Count too!

message 376: by Dee (new)

Dee Hey Nadine!! Welcome to the group!! Glad you're here!!

message 377: by Nadine (new)

Nadine Parker I've been here for awhile. But for some reason I never posted an introduction. I thought I did when I originally joined but I didn't see a previous introduction post anywhere. So this is late, but you know a little more about me now though. LOL I am currently also trying to open a small business. I am hoping to open a vampire shop in my local city. I want to sell books, movies, TV series, games, clothing (Gothic type), jewelry. But all the products would be Vampire related. I have even found incense and wine. That is what I am looking into right now. It's just hard to take in all the information needed for opening a small business, so it is taking me awhile. The biggest hurtle right now seems to be the business plan. Still learning what all is needed for one and who to write it.

message 378: by Namita (new)

Namita Hi Nadine. Welcome to the group.

message 379: by Dee (new)

Dee Good luck with that business, Nadine.

I'm hoping it works out...

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude Hey guys

My reading life...

I love many genres/sub-genres, but paranormal/UF is def my biggest love. Add in some humour and I am gone! And as a cat person, I love big cat shifters (and Vamps of course). Rawr.

Although I have lots and lots of favs, The Witching Hour by Anne Rice is my No. 1 book ever, ever, ever. My top series' include Night Huntress by Jeanine Frost, Vampire Chronicles (even tho' there are a few that missed the mark for me), Dark Angel by Keri Arther, Order of the Vampyres by Lydia Michaels, Indigo Court by Yasmine Galenorn, and Witch Central by Debra Geary

Am also a fan of angsty and overcoming adversity tales, so NA romance is perfect for me, and I don't shy away from subjects that lots of readers do such as love triangles/cheating, disabilities, addiction and illnesses because I like to read about perfectly flawed but real characters. Love me an ugly cry every now & then but always follow up by something light and frothy and/or funny.

I HATE finishing a book and having to wait months or even years for the next one, or - even worse - being left hanging off a cliff until the next one so I often don't read a series until it has been completed. There are exceptions, but that's mainy how I roll.

Even though I nearly always want to, I have never posted a review because I don't think I can give most books the justice they deserve (even if I haven't loved it), but also because it would take time out of me reading books!

Whew, love talking about reading, almost as much as reading itself!

Byeeeeee

message 382: by Dee (new)

Dee Hey Kitty!! Welcome to our group!! I think everyone loves an ugly cry every now and again. I try not to do it too often as it's not a good look on me, that I since I do audio books, sometimes it's in public.

I don't do reviews either. Even though I'm a talker, I don't have much to say in a review.

I see you're already be bopping around the group....need anything just ask.

Hi Dee, thanks for the welcome.

Have spent hours on/off the boards today... decided that I needed a break as I have just finished Reclaiming the Sand (Reclaiming the Sand, #1) by A. Meredith Walters and Chasing the Tide (Reclaiming the Sand, #2) by A. Meredith Walters which caused major ugly crying so decided to do this instead (oh yeah and some cute kitty vids on YT lol)!

✎Stacey "The One Night Biter" Hey Kitty, I'm so glad that you joined our group. I wasn't much on review either but I'm getting better and I only use a few lines..

Glad to have another "cliff hanger" junkie like myself around

Happy days
