Hello. My name is Alex and I work in Customer Service. I love Urban Fantasy and Paranormal. I have an 8-month-old daughter and she's finally starting to sleep more through the night, so, I once again have time to devote to my book obsession. Haha! I love reading about vampires the most. :)

Hello, my name is Sarah, and I love anything and everything that involves Vampires! My obsession began with Buffy when I was a teenager, and from then I've had to have Vampires in my life all of the time in the form of books, movies, and TV series. I just can't get enough of those bloodsuckers! I hope to connect with like minded people who need Vampires in their life just as much as I do lol
I joined the group last month, but I've been using Goodreads to check out reviews on books I'm interested in for almost a year now. I'm currently in the process of finishing my first book to my first Vampire series which is why I haven't got round to reading anything as of late.

Hello! I'm Rae. I read a little bit of everything, but I never stray too far from the fantasy/supernatural/magical realism field. You can't really go wrong with the Sookie Stackhouse series (its just enough of bit of vampy trashness that I love). My first introduction to supernatural fiction was Blood and Chocolate (if you remember that book).

I know what you mean about "Interview with a Vampire" I'd seen Buffy by then, but that movie made such an impression on me when I was a teenager. It was the first time I'd seen Vampires like that and I was seduced instantly. I then devoured the book and the rest they say is history.
That movie also introduced me to Brad Pitt and I'd never really seen a truly evil vampire until Lestat (Tom Cruise). He terrified me! The scene where he's playing the piano (I love that piece of music) "Claudia, you have been a very, very naughty little girl" ran my blood cold that scene.

Hi, Elka! It took me awhile also to comment on posts. I'd just look and read; yet I was wanting to respond to some. I finally did it and it ended up being easy. (Sometimes there is that one mean person and I avoid that person. That is very rare. ) All in all, I enjoy this group and comment a lot! I have found it to be way more enjoyable to get involved than sit and watch. Try the games first; that's what I did. Welcome!
