I like old school vampires like Dracula more so than newer vampires (wasn't really into the Twilight hype though I did devour it like I do all YA novels with supernatural elements). I'm also really digging this new zombie obsession. Warm Bodies was an amazing read to me in the way it seemed to not so much be talking about zombies but about people that aren't normal being left behind by society.
I love to theorize and talk books and look forward to doing so!

Oh yeah, I'm there with you, Michele! I only remembered about it after I posted, but Interview with the Vampire (and the Vampire Lestat) are great examples of the kind of vampires I like. Kind of old school, but kind of new school, too. I have a few more of the series but haven't read them yet.

I own waaaay too many books, most of them of the genre fiction variety. So many vampires and witches, but I don't think that should be a surprise to anyone, knowing the spooky bat that I have always been.
Sometimes I write, but I'm currently on a hiatus due to my computer being out of commission at the moment. More time for reading!

My name is Phoebe, I am a bookaholic. The last time I touched a book was 15 minutes ago. I enjoy reading paranormal romance novels. Personally enjoy the ones that have a character that goes bump in the night, mostly in a bed. *wink*
I try to be an active member on goodreads but to be honest I use goodreads to find new books and to update my progress on how far along I am with the books I’m currently reading. If you want to add me as a friend or have any novels you’d like to recommend, feel free to add me.

My name is Khadija and I love reading books. They are pure escapism, which is well needed during these dark times. Romance is my favorite genre, and paranormal romance is my favorite sub-genre. Obviously, vampires are a big hit with me. Especially alpha male vampires that love and respect bad ass, independent heroines :).

I love most things vampire (sorry Twilight), shifter, alien, cyborg, or historical. As long as there is a steamy HEA, I'm a happy girl.

Granted, I'm not going super far out of my comfort zone, it's not like I'm suddenly reading intense sci-fi stuff or non fiction satire. Vampires is still pretty much in my wheelhouse. But I'm excited for the change, and I'm pleased that bookclubs are something I can participate in over the internet. I've got two toddlers, over the internet is exactly the level of engagement I'm capable of right now, lol.

My name is Jamie, and I'm a Sociology major, almost completing my bachelor's degree. I hate drama, and love my 3 furbabies, like they are my own children. I recently joined Goodreads, as I wrote a Nonfiction novel called DARK HUMAN, that based off actual events. It's a story about a real life, Luciferian Witch, also known as an Astral Vampire, as he drained me of my energy in the year 2015. These people are real, but rare, as this is Old School Witchcraft. We are in the process of promoting our novel, through Instagram and Facebook. Final Draft with submission is in process. Look forward to talking to you.
Thank you,
Jamie Sweet "Little One"
