Thank you for the opportunity to post this. It's so good to be in the company of Catholic writers.

My name is Ariela Pereira. So nice to have found this group!
I'd like to offer my book for free in exchange for an honest review. The book is an account of a Judeo-Catholic Beatific Vision.

Do and Die

In the Flesh - My Story
"In The Flesh - My Story" is a fast-moving novel that invites readers to experience Jesus' life, death and resurrection all through His eyes ... told in the first-person. What was it like to be fully divine and fully human on a mission to save mankind? Walk in the sandals of a life you never completely contemplated. Endure a sacrifice you never ventured to appreciate. Savor a love you will never fully fathom.

Hello Mr. Torkington is a pleasure to meet you. I was looking for catholic writers from England, because the writers Fiorella de Maria Nash, and Corinna Turner created a group for English, Irish, Scotish, and Welsh writers. he idea is not to race with Catholic Writers Guild, but also it was to support the jornalist Joanna Boogle. If you have a facebook page you are welcome CLARA - Catholic Literary Arts Revival Association - UK & Ireland I am the person with the most stupid face :-). Would you mind saying this thing to another catholic United Kingdom writer :-). CLARA - Catholic Literary Arts Revival Association - UK & Ireland https://www.facebook.com/groups/12664...

Oh, the importance of Fathers! And of forgiveness--most especially for ourselves. We need books like this. I enjoyed the presentation.

I totally agree with your opinion :-).

Thank you, Fonch. If today's Catholic Fiction is given note at all, it is that its books are for children--which is surely wonderful; we need good Catholic books for children!--while books for today's adult Catholic and his or her struggle toward God are often ignored.

In the next vote there will be a good book i am thinking in "The Sword and the serpent" by Taylor R. Marshall, and the books of my friend Alfonseca belonged to this category. You muust purpose these books, and in the mont you must vote it, and then these books will be able to read in Goodreads, but i love the catholic fiction genre. The problem is that the people vote other things. I have voted Toward the gleam and Looking for he king in several ocassions :-(.

Hi David,
You should feel free to nominate it for consideration as our BOTM. We have a number of members who are always interested in new Catholic fiction. You can do that here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/....

I published "Jesus: Perfect Love" in January 2019 and it is available on Amazon and elsewhere.
Jesus: Perfect Love
The book includes fruitful words from Our Lord and Savior and His beloved saints.

Hi,
I just published my new catholic fiction novel 7 NIGHTS AND EIGHT days...
I normally write suspense/intrigue (though I have written one or two dramatic novels). The plot of this new one takes place during the popular pilgrimage of The Way of Saint James. Here is the Amazon link to it and a brief synopsis:
Seven people from various countries embark on the popular Pilgrimage of “The Way of Saint James” in Spain, their goal is to walk for several days in order to arrive at the final destination which is the Cathedral of Santiago. A chance encounter brings Sean, Emma, Esohe, Helen, Jason, Lorenza, and Robert together. This leads to cracks surfacing on their carefully crafted facades, painstakingly constructed to shield the truth from the rest of the world. Buried secrets are unearthed, and deep hurts revealed, will they be strong enough to face their deepest fears? An emotionally packed novel, full of intriguing suspense, betrayals, and hope.

I am aware of Mrs Fabian, as we were on the same online writers group a few years ago. I haven't gotten around to reading her books yet. I'll admit, my book is basically trying to eschew dragon stereotypes to a degree, and it may not be to everyone's liking. But I know two Catholics who liked my book as they just saw it as a story, and not as an allegory.

Semi-related, a person I know, a South African who used to be an Anglican but converted to Eastern Orthodox, wrote a novel called 'The Year of the Dragon' which goes deeply into the St George symbolism of dragons and draw parallels to figures in Apartheid-era South Africa. By his own admission he tried to write a Charles Williams-style spiritual thriller.

Thank you very much.

What makes our story unique is the ongoing paranormal activity occurring in our home, and neighbors', that was eventually attributed to a neighbor practicing the occult or witchcraft. In all, there were 3 suicides within the span of 16 homes, as well as 2 known suicide attempts.
The topics in my memoir are heavy. Unfortunately, these are timely in our very fallen world (mental illness, addiction, suicide, spiritual warfare, and grief) and will resonate with anyone who has a loved one battling the enemy. This book is an excellent choice for a Catholic book club, as it will invoke deep discussion.

Well i did it.

It is a young- adult Catholic fiction novel that would also be a great family read, as it touches on social issues of today. The back reads:
As the oldest of four, Christian enters middle school with questions about politics, faith, nationalism, and family. All seem to be pelting him for answers. With the country split on the issues and on the brink of war, Christian's younger brother Caleb finds an old scroll in the backyard with a riddle telling them to enter the rock. They find within the rock, new companions for the journey including a bright and tenacious girl with a strong will to succeed. These children band together to make sense of it all as they set off on an adventure, where they are thrust into a parallel universe that leads them on a journey of the body, mind, and spirit, where they are brought face to face with evil. How can Catholic children face a broken-down world? The scripturally based riddles dive into the feelings and concerns of five children, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Each finds the answers to interior peace and hope as they gain the wisdom to persevere in a society that is abandoning God's laws.
