Ilbert d'Orcence Thank you, PamG. “Thrilled” to be a “Thriller”, and chuffed the teaser managed to pique your curiosity :)

I love writing with a purpose (across its many expression forms). I treasure its freedom to artistically melt research, strategy and instinct in pioneering ways. Experimenting, illustrating, melting genres… creating puzzles. Fun! Ergo, my creatures shapeshift between all kinds of skins. From (rarely glimpsed) illustrated novels, short-stories, to lightning cinematic poems (or short-films, to be played boldly).

Surreal collisions aplenty, with more brewing in the shadows. Grateful for the opportunity to share my work, and here’s to pushing boundaries!

Rodrigue Shema Title: [FREE] 1855: LIVE — A Psychological Thriller (Influencer vs. Simulation)

Hi everyone!

I’m Rodrigue Shema, and I’m thrilled to share my debut novel, 1855: LIVE, with this group.

The Pitch: In 2026, Maya is a top-tier influencer. When she wakes up in the mud of rural Pennsylvania in 1855, she thinks she’s travelled through time. The reality is much darker: she is the subject of a high-tech simulation, being live-streamed to millions of viewers who vote on her survival.

If you enjoy the "tech-dread" of Black Mirror mixed with gritty, 19th-century survival, I think you’ll love this.

The Deal: The book is currently 100% FREE on Amazon for the next few days. I’m looking to connect with thriller fans and would love to hear your thoughts!

Daryl Smith Jungle Jen: An Amazonian Romantic Adventure
FYI for some reason this shows my old cover. As my blurb below says, this book started as a high school project 40 years ago.

Can faith overcome fear? Can love overcome hate? Are God’s promises for today, or are they just stories for an ancient time?

John Shaw is a bitter man, a hardened solider, a warrior for God, his beloved, the light of his life, taken from him in her prime. Faith useless, his former life and mercenary riches beckon.

Nurse Jen, scorned by her fellow’s, unblessed in love, serving God and seeking purpose helping the poor and the downtrodden.

Stranded in the harshest of environments, in the most unforgiving of places, Jen must trust this wounded veteran to get her through to safety and do what she came for, to heal those in need.

Together a trial, a test of faith stands in their way. Crushing jaws and razor-sharp claws await in the pit of the “Cat Worshippers” of the Amazon.

Can Jen’s way of love and forgiveness prevail, and melt the heart of the vengeful fighter? Will turning the other cheek be rewarded only in the next world, or in this world as well?

A Christian Romance of Faith and Survival 40 years in the making. Started as a boy, completed as a man. A high school project put away for years, brought out and finished for you the reader...

Todrian Rush Hi everyone. I'm Todrian Rush, a debut author out of Dallas, Texas, and I just released my first novel, The Lie That Loved Me Back.
The simplest way I can describe it: Emily Hewitt attends AA meetings in Dallas where she tells the group about the man who loved her. Gently, completely, in a way no one ever had. The problem is that something about her stories feels slightly off. Too vivid. Too perfect. Real memory doesn't work like that.
The Lie That Loved Me Back
This is a novel about what the mind builds when the truth becomes unlivable. It's built around an unreliable narrator but not in the way you're expecting. The prose itself is part of the deception. Several early readers described finishing it and immediately wanting to go back to page one.
If you've ever loved a book that made you question your own reading, this was written for you.

Available now on Amazon. ISBN 9798257733727. I'd love to know what you think when you finish it.

message 1609: by PamG (new)

PamG Welcome to A Good Thriller, Todrian. This one seems to have a psychological aspect to it. Would you call it a thriller?

message 1610: by Todrian (new)

Todrian Rush Thank you for the welcome! I am happy to be here.

Honestly I think it lives somewhere in the middle. I would call it psychological literary fiction but it absolutely has thriller elements. The tension just works differently. There are no chase scenes or ticking clocks. It's more of a slow creeping feeling that something is off before you can put your finger on what it is.

The unreliable narrator is where it gets closest to thriller territory. She is performing for everyone around her and the reader is simultaneously inside her head and being deceived by it. That feeling of not really being able to fully trust what you're reading is very much in thriller territory or at least I imagine it that way

I think it boils down to if you love psychological thrillers for the feeling they create more than the plot mechanics I think this one will land( hopefully )

Brandon Moodley FREE TODAY: A Psychological Thriller of Logic Over Empathy

Hi, I'm Brandon Moodley an Indie Author-The Unburdened Series.

Most stories are built on empathy—mine is built on calculation.

I wrote The Unburdened for those who prefer the cold logic of a "Director’s eye" over traditional hero arcs. It is a psychological sprint for fans of American Psycho and Dexter.
One warning: If you notice a "glitch" in the opening, do not ignore it. You’ve already entered Luca’s loop. He is manipulative, and once you’re in, the logic is hard to unlearn.

Currently top 20 and 30 across three genres.

FREE until midnight.
Book 2 is available now. Book 3 is in development and is designed to challenge the perspective of the reader and the boundaries of the genre itself.

Grab the loop here: Global https://a.co/d/0bBOCmTf

Enjoy the game !

Imagine finding a letter from your dead mother... telling you where a body is buried.

You wouldn’t dig, right?

That’s what she told herself too.

Until she found the well.
And inside it — the remains of a girl who vanished 37 years ago.

No one in town wants the truth uncovered.
Because some secrets were buried for a reason.

And the deeper she digs, the more she realizes:

Junaid Murtuza Hello everyone,

I’m Junaid Murtuza, a new indie thriller author and longtime fan of geopolitical and maritime suspense fiction. I recently published my debut novel:

Rogue Sailors: A Maritime Heist

The story explores the hidden world moving across international waters — cargo ships, rogue operators, mercenaries, global trade routes, and the unseen vulnerabilities of the oceans.

Inspired by real-world maritime chokepoints and the scale of global shipping, the novel blends suspense, conspiracy, military tension, and psychological pressure at sea.

If you enjoy:

* geopolitical thrillers
* maritime suspense
* military/crime fiction
* ocean-based mysteries
* Tom Clancy or Clive Cussler style tension

you may enjoy this story.

I’d also genuinely love to interact with fellow thriller readers here.

Q&A welcome — happy to answer questions about:

* the inspiration behind the story
* maritime research
* cargo shipping realities
* writing process
* thriller influences
* publishing my first book as an indie author

Looking forward to connecting with everyone here.

Samuel Cain "The monsters don't live under the bed. They buy you a drink and listen to your problems."
This is the first chapter of Disarticulated: A Chef's Obsession.
Samuel is precise, controlled, fluent in the language of want. He doesn't chase. He selects. He reads a room the way he reads a kitchen — knowing exactly what's ready to break down under heat.
You'll find yourself understanding him. That's the part that should worry you.
I wrote this hoping it costs you one hour of sleep.
Just one.

Ram Ji Deshi Satoshi Nakamoto | I Choose Violence

Not a police procedural. Not a spy thriller.
A story about three ordinary men who find a trafficking network — and decide to dismantle it themselves.

What makes it different: the protagonist is a database engineer. He finds the network in corrupted data. He's not a hero. He's someone who saw something he couldn't unsee.

Dark, morally gray, and fast-paced.
