Danielle Esplin Giveaway now open for Give it Back, a psychological thriller set in Seattle, Washington.

https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

Enter for a chance to win 1 of 5 first edition copies of Give it Back. Danielle Esplin's debut novel.

“I stayed up to finish it. Scared my husband when I started yelling at my iPad because it stopped! I can see me adding this to my list of favorites and reading it over and over. I stopped watching Dr Who because I was so wrapped up in the story.”

Not long ago, Lorraine lost her husband to another woman. She thought that's the worst thing that could happen to her, but soon she realizes it's only the beginning of an everlasting nightmare.

The au pair, Lexy, moves to Seattle to help Lorraine with her infant son. But she didn't come for the kids, she came for something else.

When Ella receives a call from her sister, Lorraine, who begs her to leave San Diego to spend time with her in Seattle, she thinks she will take a few days off from work. Frightened to see how her sister weakened since her diagnoses, she packs her small bag with a foreboding that this might be the last time she sees her.

But on her way to the airport she learns that something shocking had happened between the day she last spoke with Lorraine and the morning of the flight. Lorraine’s testimony changes, making Ella question how unreliable her sister really is.

Soon Ella is entangled in a mysterious investigation, and more so, in the lives of everyone involved. Not only will she realize that she won’t go home soon, but she will never look at others the way she did before

Guy Portman I am pleased to announce that Symbiosis by Guy Portman is being released on the 21st January. Symbiosis is a psychological thriller. It is my 3rd novel. This is the blurb:

Identical twins Talulah and Taliah have never been apart. Viewed as curiosities by children and adults alike, they coexist in an insular world with their own secret language. But being identical doesn’t necessarily mean being equal…

Soon a series of momentous events will send Talulah and Taliah spiralling out of control, setting them on a collision course with a society that views them as two parts of a whole. Will their symbiotic relationship survive?

Perceptive and poignant, Symbiosis explores our enduring fascination with twins and the complexities of twinship.

A valuable addition to the monozygotic canon…

Moving and laconic, with impressive attention to psychological detail…

Every Monday in the UK is blue. What's so special about this one? I was 'brung up' in Leeds. We invented 50 shades of grey long before anyone else. Ever visited the Bronte Country on a drizzly day? Do so if you want an insight of existential gloom.
Mind you nothing beats the Airedale on a sunny day.

David L Wallace Hi, Everyone –

I have a giveaway due to start on 2/1/2016 that will run for a month for my novel Trojan, which is a thriller set in Washington, DC. After studying, writing, editing and rewriting in anonymity for over a decade while holding down a fulltime 50 hours a week job as an information technical professional, last December I decided to reach out and get a review of Trojan done.

“Victor, who is comparable to an extremely patriotic Jason Bourne, is an intriguing hero. David L. Wallace creates a terrifyingly realistic glimpse into the future of national security, as well as a look at the staggering price of revenge.” Clarion Review

After receiving the above review earlier this month, I decided to launch a giveaway and publish Trojan on 3/1/2016.

Below is the link to the novel on Goodreads…

P.J. Reed Life is strange in Thorny Ridge, USA.

People disappear, murders are covered up and strange, possibly supernatural, events occur too regularly to be a coincidence. Strangers have been spotted in the community questioning, documenting and then disappearing only to reemerge when the next series of murders occurs.

Evidence regarding the murders and the cover up has been collected by the surviving reporters from The Flaming Horror Review and will be published on a monthly basis if at all possible.
The first file is of Anna, a single mother working the late shift at the Candy Shack on Saturday night.

This file chronicles how her life was changed forever one Halloween.

More evidence of the Thorny Ridge conspiracy will be released soon. The Flaming Horror Review by P.J.Reed

P.J. Reed “Ideal for dark winter days. Beautifully written, horror poems”

The Wicked Come is a collection of Dark Romantic, Fantasy and Gothic Horror poetry from the speculative writer and poet P.J.Reed.
The poems in this collection are beautifully descriptive, well-crafted snapshots of the lives of people inhabiting the shadowlands of civilised society.
This collection is an exploration of the darker side of humanity. The consequences of one sided love affairs and how obsession can easily turn to murder. It explores the aftermath of when sanity crashes against madness.
Readers of P.J.Reed’s work are introduced to a variety of characters inhabiting a dystopian society: the gourmet detective, the doctor with unusual hobbies, the unnatural gardener and the too ardent lovers. Each character has their own dark tale to share, their lives unravelling before the reader in minimalistic, deadly verses.
The Wicked Come also delves into the realm of the supernatural, with twists and visions of a fascinating world just beyond our perception.

“Startling and fresh. Dark reads for Dark Romantics”

Andrew Barrett I might have been absent from here of late, but I promise I've been busy and not languishing beside a pool or tucked in one of Her Majesty's hotels. Some of you might know I've been reworking [=The Third Rule=] with a view to making it more appealing to readers who don't want the epic 1000-page book, and they are the majority, I believe. It'll also make it easier to promote the series - this being the first in the Eddie Collins series - once it's more a 'standard' length.

Well, I didn't quite achieve a 'standard' length, but I did manage to lop 70k words off it, so it's more compact, sharper, and easier to digest at a mere 180k words (!).

Along with the intense edit has come a new cover for her to wear, and even a banner too (I've gone all arty!), and a new punchier blurb. [=The Third Rule=] 2nd edition, goes out on sale on the 20th February, and is free for the first five days. I'm hoping it gets a favourable response but I'm not sure I dare peek at the results as they trickle in. Anyway, if they are favourable, I'll let you all know how it went.

Take care...

When you're accused of murder, you'd better hide, run, or fight.
The Third Rule is England's new infallible capital punishment. But absolute proof of guilt is no longer required, so there’s a queue at the Slaughter House doors.
CSI Eddie Collins hasn't killed anyone, but he knows who has. That’s why he’s on the Slaughter House list, and when a government hunter tracks him down, Eddie has to fight or die.

LOL, i hope the character wasn't named after me :P

thanks for the wishes, it's still a pretty new platform so i suggest to start now, even if your book isn't ready, draft are more than welcomed and very good to start accumulating crowd before you actually start funding.

come check it out, will be good to hear your feedback. I am also the lead of the Thriller/Mystery Syndicate on Inkshares, which is essentially a group committed to supporting a thriller book once a month as a whole. We are aching for more thriller writers there, SF currently ruling... :-(

Joni Dee As to how it works (sorry i missed that bit):
you upload an idea, later a draft, and start accumulating followers.
when you are ready u start what is essentially a crowdfunding campaign. when and if u reach 250 backers (pre order is 10$ for an ebook and 20$ for ebook + papaerback) they will edit and publish your book/
750 backers and above means that inkshares will also market and promote it as a publisher would.
essentially that's it and if u cant reach the goal, your readers are refunded.
my link again, if you can and want to check it firsthand (note i get credit for referring if u use this exact code) https://www.inkshares.com/books/and-the-wolf-shall-dwell?referral_code=d9c1458b
