John McBrearty Greetings all. I would like to introduce myself. I served 32 years in the military and am now actively involved in writing my memoirs, among other genres. I recently published the COMBAT JOURNAL book series, which is available on Amazon. I wrote these books for my fellow veterans, their families, and the soldiers and Marines I served with. I think the general public would enjoy my work because if I use military jargon, I explain what those specific terms mean so everyone can enjoy the work. I am currently completing a leadership book, a "How-to" book on writing and publishing, and my autobiography. They will all be published before summer 2024. I look forward to great things with this eclectic group. John J. McBrearty

S. Isreal Isreal Dear Community Group Members/Authors/Readers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to share with you my recently published book, "It's Not God, It's You!" which I believe holds transformative insights for every Christian.

In this book, I delve into the notion that God empowers us with agency and responsibility, challenging the perception that every life event is solely orchestrated by divine intervention. Through personal anecdotes, reflections, and biblical wisdom, I invite readers to explore the power of self-awareness, faith, and personal responsibility in shaping our lives.

I would be honored if you could take the time to read my book and share your thoughts and reflections. Your honest reviews and feedback are invaluable and will greatly contribute to the ongoing conversation within our community.

You can find the book on Goodreads for more information and to leave your review: [Link to Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...]

For more updates, my everyday quotes, information, about myself, and I will also like to make new friends, please visit my website: https://linktr.ee/theligthofisrael

If you have any questions or would like to connect further, please feel free to reach out to me at my Email: oisebooks1@gmail.com

Thank you for considering my invitation, and I look forward to engaging with you and hearing your insights on "It's Not God, It's You!"

Warm regards,

Isreal

I will be releasing my latest book on Amazon this Monday, President’s Day.
LEADERSHIP LESSONS from Operation Iraqi Freedom.
This study in leadership is the result of a successful 32-year military career. The following pages contain brutally honest, real-life, leadership examples taken directly from the combat zone as documented in the COMBAT JOURNAL book series. This is an ideal reference for future generations of military and corporate leaders. After reading this book, you will see leadership in a whole new light and become a stronger leader as a result.

Hannah Hi everyone! My name is Hannah, and I've recently gotten back into reading in the past year. I have been pretty quickly growing my collection of books, but am always looking to add more to my list :) I've been trying to expand my horizons a little bit, but I most enjoy: fantasy, romance, fiction, Y/A, Mysteries and Thrillers. I would love to help with reviews, so if anyone is interested, please contact me!

Hello Hannah,

I hope you’ll consider reviewing my latest novel, and winner of the Literary Titan Golden Book Award, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words [282 pages] published by Wild Wolf Publishing on September 1, 2023), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.

Some excerpts from editorial reviews:
“C W Lovatt's storytelling is masterful…” ~ Readers’ Favorite
“Lovatt's novel is a literary gem …” ~ A Look Inside
“A genuinely thought-provoking novel, it beckons readers to reflect on the intricate dance of life, growth, and self-discovery.” ~ Literary Titan

The following is the blurb:

“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.

A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.

Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.

But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.

Thank you for your time.

Hello and thanks! My name is Chinmay Chakravarty and I'm from India. I've been a voracious reader of world literature since my school days. Love fiction! A writer too since my school days, hailing from a writers' family. Started writing in English from the eighties--articles, stories, scripts and then a blog. Published my first book in 2017 and till now have written 9 multi-format books and several eBooks. Would love to connect with you all.

I am an avid reader and love doing reviews on my page. It is my outlet to talk about them as I am sure people in my life are sick of hearing about books. I read a large variety of genres.
I would love to be friends.

Sammie Sammie Marsalli

Hi everyone. I am simply an ordinary “John Doe” 24/7 home caregiver, husband, sharing my experiences, reactions, invented therapies while caring for my wife at home with Alzheimer's. We have been married 44 years, 3 kids now grown up, a great dog most of those years, a typical family on our own trying to hold on to my wife and avoid her shutdown.

I began to realize there are probably other “amateur” caregivers like me on their own trying to take care of a loved one with Alzheimer's Disease and possibly could benefit from my shared personal experiences.

Unfortunately, professional help cannot respond “in real time” when radical behavioral changes occur. Only home caregivers can.

I began to invent my own therapies to keep my wife “connected” as she was unable to speak.

Hopefully, my books become a shortcut for home caregivers of Alzheimer´s to avoid some of the desperation, frustration and sadness on their tortuous caregiving journey.

My name is Christine. I write dark, romantic coming of age drama. My first book, Life of the Party, was released in 2010, and I just recently finished my second book, The Spectacular Beneath, in 2023.

A lot has changed over the last thirteen years and I'm slowly figuring out how to market indie books again lol. I'd love some more reviews for my new book and am happy to offer free copies of both in exchange for honest reviews!

I’m looking to find some new authors and books to read and review. I am an elementary school teacher who reads every chance I get. I am an animal lover so I would prefer books that don’t have animal abuse in them, especially dogs.

John Wilson After 3 decades of having my books (~50) published traditionally, republishing older titles through Amazon and D2D, and self-publishinng a few pet projects (memoir, poetry chapbook, etc.), I have recently published a trilogy of photography books, Places not Paisley: Photographic Peregrinations—book 1 The Natural World; book 2 The human World; book 3 The Ruined World. In my years as a freelancer, I did the photography for many of my travel and historical articles and published photo essays in glossy in-flight magazines. This trilogy presents those and other photographs grouped broadly by theme. All three are ranked in the top hundred Travel Biographies and Memoirs on Amazon. I have not yet built a page for these books on my website (johnwilsonauthor.com), but they can be checked out here: https://www.amazon.ca/Places-not-Pais...

C.W. Lovatt Hi, my name is Chuck. I have fourteen books to my credit, mostly historical fiction, three of them have been best sellers. But the reason why I'm posting is that I'm heartily sick of the trolls on Goodreads. I don't mind promoting my work, although it's my least favourite thing about writing, ditto soliciting reviews, but putting up with harassment and trolls while I try to do so, because I refuse to pay for their 'review services', (ha!) makes the already uneven playing field that much more difficult.
