Elizabeth Harris Hello! My name is Elizabeth Harris and I write women's fiction, book club books. I just published my first ebook to Kindle and would love to get it on Goodreads but I am a terrible internet illiterate and get overwhelmed by all the info! I'm also here to find my new favorite authors, meet new book buddies and start my summer reading marathon. I am new to all of this, have no friends to invite who are avid readers and don't really know where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Excited to be here, excited to read your recommendations. Cheers to summer reading!

Ryan Esperon Elizabeth wrote: "Hi, Ryan! I too am new to all of this. How are you finding your way so far?" I agree with you that it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the info! There's definitely a learning curve to figuring out this whole author business, haha. I saw your question. Here's the link I used to figure out how to get my book listed on Goodreads: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
I used the "Manually Add Book" link. Hope that helps.

Marie Weiler Hello! My name is Marie Weiler, and I am a Canadian, independent fiction author. Since I like to read almost every genre, it seems only natural that I write everything from faery tales to science fiction, contemporary dramas to medieval fantasy.

A lot of my writing influences are authors from past centuries (Tolkien, Lewis, Austen, Dickens, etc.), and I hope my writing will someday have its own signature trademark like theirs has had.

Anyways, I'm glad to be here and to converse with other writers!

Erik Swanson Hello, everyone. I’m a class of 2013 graduate from Blackstone Valley Vocational High School. I pursued manufacturing there from 2010-13 because I didn’t get in till my sophomore year. I’m still in the manufacturing field with working as a machinist, plus working at Home Depot, but have branched out into other interests and endeavors. Next week on Thursday I’ll be appearing as a guest on the TV talk and variety show “Topic Time” with the host, Harrison Blake Young, to promote my writing, literary work, and discussing other things as well. So please check it out in Easton, Mass at the time to be announced. Then catch it off of YouTube from the Easton Community Access Television and Topic Time website. All together, I have written four books within the past three years. One being the first to a sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure series “Tales Of Alandria Bridging Of Worlds” and the other three “Lost Case Encounters” “Corrections Mayhem” and “Among Altin” being sci-fi horror novels, first one being a collection of three short stories of my own.

Ira Smith Hello all! I’m Ira, a lifelong avid reader. Now retired and reading even more! I’ve been writing reviews here on Goodreads, and have expanded that to Netgalley, BookSirens, Reedsy Discovery and Newpages. Favorite genres are SF and fantasy, noir, and historical fiction.

message 4532: by Gregory (new)

Gregory Booker Welcome and plenty of good reading material. On my profile you'll find several books ,christan based prophetic based material which does have reviews. I am in dusty El Paso TX and retired and enjoy reading mostly real-life stuff or history related and ever so often a fictional drama may entertain me. Did do some traveling in the big USA but now a bit more restive right at home and okay with that.

Frank Settineri One star. I just received one star for my latest book, Fearless, without any explanation. It's like getting an "F". Devastating. It makes me wonder if, or why, I should continue writing. I know there are hundreds - thousands - of authors who put me to shame but one star is hard to comprehend. For anyone who feels a one star review is justified, which I suppose it is for my novel, it would be very, very helpful to understand the reasoning behind it. At least then I could attempt to make corrections the next time around, or hang up my pen and attend to other matters. Sorry for the bellyaching because I'm usually pretty optimistic about life. I simply had to vent about this one. Thanks.

I have one of those, too! You have to ignore those. Not because they're irrelevant, but because there will always be someone who has their own reasons for not enjoying the book, and there's nothing you can do or could have done to change it. Just accept and move on.

Lisette Kristensen Hi everyone, I am Lisette and I write Political Thrillers. I found the political thriller genre via Kindle Worlds (now closed) and being influenced by Russell Blake and his JET series.

I have written other genres back in the day but my best sellers are the Silent Secret Series. Now up to five books, the sixth book, Blood in the Light, should be ready by late September.

Looking forward to participating with the group.

Niharika Bhol Hi Everyone.

My name is Niharika Bhol and I am an aspiring author. I mostly write stories that have happy endings. I prefer to because I am a hopeless romantic in my head and obviously in my heart. Yes, I am a staunch believer that there was enough space on the door for Jack and Rose to stay afloat.

My new book is releasing this Wednesday on Amazon and I am just sort of hoping (fingers crossed) that some of you can take some time out and give it a read.

Cheers!
