Hello everyone,I'm still finding my way around goodreads. There's much to see. I've only browsed some of the groups (so many to consider).
I'm an avid reader, loving books since I learned how to read (many years ago). My love of reading was inspired by my mother. She also dabbled in writing... starting a memoir but passing before she could really get it going. Her passion for reading and writing rubbed off on me.
I just published my debut novel: Reasons, Three Lives One Soul. As an author, I've also created an author page at goodreads.
I hope to make some new friends here. After all, we have the love of books in common. And hey, maybe I'll find a fan or two as well!

My memoir recounts a surprising story (it was surprising to me, at least): how I let myself slide into an unhealthy state, then finally turned that around. Yep, old fashioned there! My eyes give out! Lol). I’m a HUGE reader who’s now retired with a lot of time on my hands (I was an international airline pilot and before that a TV meteorologist—no joke) so you’ll find me hiding out in the 3-person rattan swing in the yard under the big old trees with a glass of ice cold tea and a cozy soft blanket with a great book hoping nobody will find me, except maybe the cats.
