Hey, I'm Rae and I'm a passionate bookworm and (TV and) book blogger.
I love reading fantasy, especially series written and led by women, and females ;-) of every shape and form, the more diverse the better. I also love reading romance, dystopian, sci-fi, mystery, as well as fiction and non-fiction feminist books and memoirs. Although I prefer adult and new adult genres, I also read a lot of YA.
Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo, Talia Hibbert, are my ultimate favorite authors, but I also love and enjoy discovering amazing new and new to me talented authors.
I join this group because I now accept review requests (ebook, hard copy, and audio) that I will publish on my growing blogs and social media platforms, as well as any other places desired. I'm looking forward to discovering my new favorite authors and bookish obsessions!

Maura Pierlot Hi, I'm Maura. I'm an author-playwright, avid reader and American expat living in Australia. I'm new to Goodreads (I have a new title out 1 October) so still trying to get my head around everything. I write mainly children's/YA but lately also essays, memoir and non-fiction. In recent years, I've been writing about mental health issues, especially issues facing young people. Prior to writing, I was a business owner, ethicist and medical writer/producer. My background is in philosophy so, not surprisingly, much of my work features philosophical/existential themes. Looking forward to engaging with the group. I'd love to hear from YA book reviewers!

Amanda Aloha! Nice to meet you all. My name is Amanda, and I finally decided to start reviewing in addition to all my reading :) I started a Bookstagram to go along with it (https://www.instagram.com/dropitlikei...)
Sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, but as my goal is to have fun with books, I'm going with it!

meg Hi Everyone! :)

My name is Meg and I am an lover of all things books and learning! As an engineer, I love to read for fun but I also really love to learn new things. For fiction, I typically read contemporary fiction, mysteries, thrillers, sci-fi, and dystopian. For non-fiction, I love all science books, biographies, and history WW2 books. I am trying to read more mental health and feminist themes as well because I really enjoy those. I also have a goal to read 100 pre-selected classics and am striving for that!

I have recently gotten into Bookstagram and am absolutely loving it. I have become more active on Goodreads as well and am embracing my love of reading and exploring new genres and authors to challenge and excite me!

I can't wait to start interacting with the group to make new friends and meet new authors!

message 4314: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten Beckworth Hi - I live in Nottinghamshire in the central UK where I've just fulfilled my lifelong dream of writing a novel. It's a character driven drama called The Enemies Within as the people within it are under threat from inner demons and those supposedly closest to them.

Although my writing preference is drama I have a wide range of reading tastes. I enjoy a good laugh and try to incorporate humour within my own books - I studiously avoid what I call "stick your head in a gas oven" fiction! I also like seeing what makes real life people tick with biographies and reading about my beloved football. At the moment I think it's better for me to go down Invincibles Memory Lane with Arsenal than watch their current woeful form!

Welcome to the group Douha. If you go to the group home page, each of the folder topics are a different genre, and the books are listed under those topics.

No problem. I just cleaned up the threads and archived all the ones from June, so probably not. We try to keep the books listed for 3-4 months unless the authors want them taken down sooner.

(๑•﹏•) Hello! I'm Eva, and I read both in English and Spanish. My favourite genre is YA Romance but I'm trying to branch out and read more variety, towards mistery, biography and literary fiction. Glad to be here!

message 4344: by Amy (new)

Amy Aquilini Hello to our making connections fam!

I'm about to release my first book STRONG - it's a memoir of my survival and comeback journey, a story on how I had the strength and determination to become a functioning member of society again.

Who am I?

Amy Aquilini is a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor that has made a comeback that not even her herself, can explain.

She sets out with a positive attitude everyday to be the change she wishes to see in the world and teach others that yes, life is hard, but you can create the life you want to live.

Amy has come to the realization that she is ten feet tall… not bulletproof! She will continue her life’s journey to be a positive ray of sunshine to the world. This resilient risk-taker is nothing short of an inspirational queen! Amy will continue to push boundaries to the limits and carries on showing people that nothing is impossible.

This determined young woman has taken the hand she was dealt and made it work after sustaining life-threatening injuries. Amy fought back during her rehab and recovery journey and proved hard work and determination pays off. Amy has turned lemons into sweet lemonade and now spends her time and energy being the change she wishes to see in the world.

Amy is an inspiration and a true example of the phrase “you can do anything you set your mind to.” The comeback Amy has made since sustaining a traumatic brain injury and other life-threatening injuries is nothing short of inspirational and incredible.

She triumphantly took on her near fatal accident, recovering with the difficulties she faces every day, and yet she roars! People watch her positive attitude with admiration as this imperfect human (as we all are) goes from strength to strength and never lets anything hold her back.

Check me out @ aquoonline.com.au

I'm grateful to be a part of this group and I can't wait to become more involved!

A.G. Sellinger Hi Everybody. I love reading all genres but I especially literary fiction, historical fiction, YA and some fantasy. I also love to write YA. I just finished the second novel in a series I'm working on. The books are born out of my passion for tv teen dramas (think Felicity, 90210, Dawson's Creek, etc)

I'd love to get to know other writers and share experiences, reviews, and just talk books in general.

message 4350: by Brendan (new)

Brendan Carroll Hello Everyone! I have recently re-devoted myself to my writing after a six-year hiatus. I am currently re-doing my series on Amazon with new over-all editing, re-vamping, new covers and my real name (sort of) instead of my pen name.
My account here is listed under Brendan Carroll which is my pen name and will continue to be my pen name in the future when I write new things. My updates will be under Brenda Carroll. I wanted to change my identity from male author to female author. My real name is Brenda Carol Eaves. See? It's all confusing to me as well.
So I'm glad to be back.
