My name is Cameron Danalis and I wrote the book titled "Everyone's an Idiot" which was released in March of 2021. It's my first, and it's an unorthodox "self-help" style book that takes stories from my life, the lessons I've learned from them, and those which I've learned vicariously through others. I share a message of growth and change, mainly focused on the battle that takes place between our two ears, and how to self-analyze and combat the self-destructive behaviors we always seem to find ourselves in. I self published it on Amazon and I made a Goodreads account shortly after. Although I haven't been too active recently, I'm trying to change that. I look forward to getting to know this community!

In my free time I run a YT channel and love to review my subscription boxes, several of which are book subscriptions. I'm so happy to be here and part of this group and enjoy making connections!

I’m Taylor! I have been writing small short blurb reviews for as long as I can remember, starting with The Babysitters Club series, and Junie B Jones. Since then I’ve always had books to fall back on. Recently my bookstagram has taken off and I find myself reading at least 6-8 books a month! I currently work remotely out of Alaska for a car dealership on the East Coast.
My favorite genre is definitely thriller/mystery. I also really like non-fiction true crime, and to keep things lighter I looove a good summer read/romance YA!
I’m looking for authors/publishers that are in need of someone to do reviews and post them on Goodreads/Instagram/Amazon!
Thank you, I’m so excited! FYI: the book community has been an absolute godsend!

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is reading and getting ideas for great books to try.

Im Mj and I love to read and review books! My reviews have been well recieved so far and do hit me up if you would like me to review your books- I read all genres ! https://www.instagram.com/boho.biblio...

My name is Sara and I work as an Executive Assistant.
In my free time I am a hired proofreader for Indie authors.
I look forward to being a part of this group.

I'm John Burns, author of my latest crime/thriller, The Glass Alibi.
Sheri has left a couple of notes on my Goodreads page. I adore her Facebook page but I have no idea how to thank her for turning me on to the reader section of Goodreads. So this is a thank you note to Sheri and a wave and hello to all readers and authors who frequent this space on the web.
One of these days I might even think of something to contribute to the conversation :-)
All the best,
John

We are all on a journey and you are not alone. I’ve dreamed of writing since I was 13, I published my first book this June. I’m in my fifties by the way. On that journey, There have been a lot of classes, critique groups and manuscripts and rough drafts that I m frankly tempted to bury in the backyard. We all go through those dark days of depression where we feel like failures.
My suggestion, based on my experiences, is find a writers group in your area. A good group has your back and will give you honest feedback on what to do to improve. It can be hard to hear sometimes but when I look back I can see it made me a better writer.
Those of us driven to write all have a journey we take to get there. Each one is different. When I feel old, I remember Helen Hoover Santmeyer published her first novel, a bestseller, at 101.

I completely understand. Marketing is the bane of my writing existence, and it is hard not to be disheartened (okay, maybe a little more than disheartened) when I see so many other books with 40 or 50 plus reviews and mine has 3. I am very grateful for those 3, but what is this secret magic that I have apparently missed out on? I still don't know the answer to that, but I can tell you that you are not alone, if that helps any.
Every time I get down about it and decide that there are a million better authors with a million better stories out there, my husband always asks me "Why do you write?". So I will ask you (all of you really) the same thing, why do you write? Is it because you hoped to do it for a living? Or because you wanted others to share what you felt? Or because you had these characters rolling around in your head whose stories you had to write down? There is no correct answer, but sometimes it can put things in perspective.
Ultimately for me, I write because I love the stories in my head and I want to read them, which of course means I need to write them. I publish and post my stories in the hopes that someone else may enjoy them as well, but really I write for me and the joy writing brings me.
I am grateful that you took the time to share how you feel. I hope it reminds others that they are not alone and that when they feel like giving up to ask themselves once again "Why I do write?"

I'm Kaden. I'm an independent author who just published a book called "Humans of Climate Change."
I have a day job but this book has been my passion for quite a while. Evenings after evenings, weekends after weekends, the book is finally published last week. And I couldn't describe the feeling when I held it in my hand for the first time...
Looking forward to interacting with everyone!

I occasionally write a few things but I wouldn't consider myself a writer. I do love to read! Lately I've been into fantasy books but I read a little bit of everything.
You can find a lot of informations and my social media on my profile if you want to get to know me better. I'd love to make some new book lovers friends! Hope we can get along! :)

I am looking to review a book. I plan on reviewing many more books, but while I build my page one book at the moment is a good start. I also understand my page

isn't much right now, but it will be!
I am a self published author and know the struggles of trying to get promoted. I would love to help with that. If interested please provide me by email: book_bling@outlook.com or PM me the following:

Pending responses received over this time period I might have a decision to make. If you are my only response well, lucky you!
The selected book will be announced on my page Aug 21, 2021.
The lucky Author will have the review posted on my page. Totally get at this moment how that might not be very intriguing. Maybe the fact that to boot the fact that I will also post to your Goodreads with your approval will help sweeten the pot..
Once my website is up and running - which will be a bit - but the review will be posted there, regardless of how much time since this review has passed.
NOTE: My reviews are honest! I will NOT promise to love a book.
For your peace of mind. I will NOT, would NEVER share the book provided with anyone. I as an author know how personal your work is.
I know I need a hand getting up and started in my new business, just as I am betting any promoting is helpful to you. What do you say we help each other?
Cheers,
D.L Fletcher

Hi! Here is my author bio.:
Ken Brandt is the author of the adventure and humor filled memoir “Positive Vision: Enjoying the Adventures and Advantages of Poor Eyesight”. He has led a fun and adventurous life and had a successful business career despite (or perhaps in part because of!) his bad eyes.
Poor eyesight never impacted Ken’s vision of what life could be. Whether galloping across the Montana range, exploring claustrophobic (and fiery!) caverns, chasing a thief through the streets of 1980s New York, or taking a plunge from a plane, his adventures are sure to entertain. Complementing the adventures are his amusing and relatable anecdotes demonstrating the advantages of poor eyesight.
Ken has always had poor vision and slightly crossed eyes. He has undergone six eye operations (including a detached retina and cataract operation in each eye), and spent parts of his life legally blind. Ken donates 10 percent of his author royalties to eye research and ending avoidable blindness.
Prior to retiring and writing “Positive Vision: Enjoying the Adventures and Advantages of Poor Eyesight”, Ken held senior management and management consulting positions in information technology and cyber security with firms and clients of all sizes in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Ken is an entertaining speaker and an amateur New Orleans style jazz trumpeter.
He and his wife Judy Roberts Brandt have been married for over twenty years, lived most of their lives in New York City, and now live in Melbourne, Australia.

I'm from all over, dad was in the military. Did a stint in the Army myself.
My reading is mostly research for my own books or seeing what's up with the genre. In no particular order, I grew up on Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum, Richard Marcinko, Andrew Britton, and Vince Flynn, and currently I enjoy the works of Nate Granzow, Stephen England, Ross Sidor, Jack Murphy, Peter Nealen, Brad Taylor, Joshua Hood, and Mark Greaney.
Thanks for having me around. Looking forward to making new connections!
