Somebody . Hi everyone. I'm Tasha and I live in Florida, United States.

I absolutely love reading, and I'm down to read and review almost any book, with the exceptions of horror; I don't like spooky things.
My favorite genres are dystopian/sci-fi and romance, they're super fun.

I'm super excited to join this group to meet new readers and authors... Can't wait to see where this goes :)

I've been writing most of my life but was published in 2011. I write mainly paranormal romance/gothic horror but have also written a short story erotica with my bestie. Just stopping by to say hello...

Ananta Govinda Hi, I'm Ananta Govinda, a visionary musician, author, photographer, and multimedia producer from San Francisco. I am also a practitioner of Vedic sciences and bhakti-yoga for over 25 years, my work always blends tasteful artistic expression with eternal human values

I recently published my debut Fantasy novel Mirror of Desire, it is out on Amazon and trending # 1 in Science Fiction and Fantasy. Check here for more info: https://anantagovinda.com/mirror-of-d...

Mirror of Desire by Ananta Govinda

I truly believe that rediscovering our common heritage will help us overcome the tendency to divide and see each other on opposite sides of life.” In the allegorical storyline of the Mirror of Desire trilogy, white and black wizards compete for access to the mysterious land of the Pyramid. I wanted to show those two colors are the range of the spectrum, indeed they cannot exist without each other.

I love SF and Fantasy books, filled with mysticism and spirituality. I found that offers me a perfect escape when I need to set back a bit from the "real world".

In any case, hi to everyone :)

message 4056: by Trana (new)

Trana Mathews Hello to all from beautiful southeastern Arizona!

I'm Diane Hildebrandt and my pen name is Trana Mathews. After retiring and moving from the Midwest, a friend suggested I participate in NaNoWriMo in 2016. I'd always thought my third great-grandfather's life was fascinating and started doing research. I met the monthly goal of 50K words that November and kept going. When I contacted Marietta College's Special Collections Department, I received transcripts of personal letters written between family members. What a treasure trove!

My works are historical fiction based on facts known about actual people. The Mathews Family was self-published last January. This month I released Dr. Increase: Mathews Family Saga Book 2, the second novel in my family saga trilogy.

John Wilson Hi All. I'm John Wilson, an ex-geologist and, over the past three decades, author of fifty books, mostly historical fiction and non-fiction for teens and adults.
I live on the west coast of Canada and, since collecting my pension a few years back and not being able to tour schools because of Covid, I have been working on projects of personal interest and revitalizing out-of-print titles as ebooks and Print on Demand paperbacks. I am enjoying the freedom from publishers and am hoping, through this group, to talk about books, ideas, share my experience and, on occasion, solicit a review or two.
Looking forward to it all.

Inspired by a true story.

Shane wanted her but Shauna was married. He knew she wouldn’t cheat but there had to be some way that seemed innocent that would let him spend some time with her…He comes up with the perfect plan.

Once he gets her, what will he do? Can they survive someone close to them who secretly disapproves of their interracial relationship, undermining everything they do?

Shane David Hailey – 6’2, Fair skin, short spikey blonde hair, blue green eyes and a killer physique. Shane is a SWAT Sergeant in the Department.

Shauna Nichele Holder – 5’5, Chocolate caramel skin, medium brown eyes, blunt cut bob parted in the middle and slim with curves in the right places. Shauna is the Clerical Manager of the South Station.

Stephen Anderson Hi all,
I was born and raised in Australia, and now live in the Cotswolds of England. I recently published a political thriller called Twelve Miles from Alice. It is set in Australia and based on real events that surrounded the dismissal of Prime Minister Whitlam in 1975. The link is below. The decisions and actions of the Whitlam Government were critical to my life and future career. Soon after coming to power, Whitlam ended conscription, brought all Australian troops home from Vietnam and abolished tuition fees. So instead of a gun and a fast boat to Vietnam on my eighteenth birthday, I was handed a free education at the University of New South Wales. How lucky was I?

The Book Suite Hey, everyone!
My name's Hope, and I live in New Jersey. I run a book review blog (The Book Suite) and I'll honestly read just about anything, though fantasy, young adult, and sci-fi books are definitely my favorites! I've also always loved writing and have a WIP or two that'll hopefully see the light someday, but I don't have any clear plans as of yet. I'm mainly just focusing on building my reading/reviewing community at the moment :)

I get really happy when I meet people who share my passion for reading.

Hi Annu

I wondered if you would be interested in a copy of my new middle grade children’s book – We're Moving Where?! – to review?

It tells the story of Harry, a young boy whose parents decide they are moving to a remote cabin in Canada. Harry is excited but then shocked to learn that there will be NO INTERNET!!!

I think the story hits a lot of very topical themes right now – the importance of family, anxiety around change and how important technology is to all aspects of our lives.

I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks

Glen

Lindsey Hello! My name is Lindsey, I live in Minnesota, USA (yes its very cold here, at least in the winter).
I've been in love with reading my whole life and enjoy a wide range of genres. My favorites are historical fiction and thrillers, but I enjoy a good romance, fantasy or biography. Really just depends on my mood. I post reviews here on Good Reads.

C.E. Cannery Hi!
My pen name is C. E. Cannery, but my actual name is Star. I live in Washington (state), USA, but I have lived in other states and countries.

I like to read fantasy, mystery, history, literary, and sci-fi. Dearest to me, is fantasy (especially epic fantasy). Although, I have to admit I do get annoyed at this genre sometimes as well, but I normally find my way back.

I do read and post reviews, but I also write. I'm a self-published author of two epic fantasy novels (and some others that I'm now too embarrassed to claim as mine.)

Nice to meet you all!

message 4082: by Ian (new)

Ian Hello all,

My name is Ian Mikkelsen and I reside in North Carolina. I have recently gotten back into reading in a big way as something to take a break from my day to day work in research. I've been interested in getting into reviewing, but have thus far not strayed too far into it.

I'm hoping to see how it's done from you all and hopefully start writing something of use. I'm mostly into speculative fiction when reading for fun, but have also done some biographies, historical fiction, and other genre's depending on what I have around me.

I think I'll start writing actual reviews on my Goodreads reviews after this current book I'm on, but not sure yet. Anyways, glad to meet everyone!

message 4089: by Lea (new)

Lea Hi there, my name is Lea and I'm in Vancouver, Canada! I just learned about and started writing reviews on goodreads last year. I loved to read when I was younger, but when I started university reading for fun took a backseat to all the textbooks and academic papers I was reading. Now that I'm out of school (and there is a pandemic) I've had evenings and weekends free to rediscover my love of reading. Last year I read mostly non fiction but this year I'm getting into some fiction as well (really enjoying the thriller / suspense genre). I started writing reviews on instagram (@readbtwthewinesbookclub) and hope to start an all things book (and wine) related blog soon! Hoping to make some connections in this group :)

Hi all! My name is Philip. I am mainly writing a book series right now, Splattering Yet Endearing. I am much more of a writer than a reader...though I have read my own writing more times than I care to count...lol. In the meanwhile, I am glad to chat with writers and actual readers!

"Widowing is a fatal disease, targeting and killing one person in every impacted couple. No treatments exist, or a solution, or survivors. Some think if Widowing targets one gender…intentionally.

Porma needs to move in with someone. Iteni, his high school crush, allows him to move in with her. He’s stoked to get to be with her. So what if no one know how to spot Widowing? Porma can possibly get with Iteni! He has multiple odd jobs to do too, as he seeks romance and adventure at his new Maine home.

Iteni’s been biting herself though. In the bathroom, leaving teeth marks on her skin. She wants to talk about her hand marks, and get help."
