I love to read a wide range of books from the classics to spy thrillers to romance, etc. I’m so excited about finding this group! It’s so nice to have a place to make connections.

Amen!

But, the key is getting a few books out. Looks like you've done that so good luck!

I'm Shanita, a new children's book author. I've been a Behavior Analyst for over 16 years, and recently decided to pursue my dream of becoming a published author... and now I have!
Glad to meet you all!

of the series Past the Line (currently on Amazon.com) and Forbidden Rescue (release date: November
1 st ) are in print. I am the founder of an independent book publishing company, ETM Publishing. I have
also written two young adult novels, Inclinations of Fear and The Looking Glass Self which are due for re-
publication early in 2020. I have two award-winning poems entitled I’ll Never Die and If I Was a Tree,
which are included in my poetry book entitled Images of Life. I am a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant
Colonel, and a native of Leesville, Louisiana. I did my undergraduate and graduate work at
Northwestern State University and Central Michigan University, respectively. I enjoy interfacing with
other authors and poets, and I am thrilled to be a part of this group.

My names Crysta. I am a new author. I love reading and writing about dark and light subject matter in romance, fantasy of all kinds, the pleasures in life, the struggles, life philosophies, and anything of feeling. Nothing really interesting to say about my life other than that :)

I'm an avid reader of fiction since the first day I walked into a library and fell in love with the shelves of books there. As an author of a travel memoir and now a middle grade book, I read that genre as well. I pulled from my volunteer travels to Indonesia to write about orangutans in adventure format. Hope to keep readers on the edge of their seat. When I'm not writing, I'm taking care of my grandkids or practicing yoga or rowing crew on Lake Union here in Seattle. Looking forward to this group.

Juan José Díaz Téllez here. I'm a spanish writer. My genres usually go from urban fantasy to paranormal thriller, but I also write for children. By now, my books are only written in spanish (I had a bad experience with a poor translation of one of my books, so next time I want to do things better). One of my books, Decimas, is nominated for the Ignotus 2019 prizes, in the category of Best Anthologies.
If you are able to read spanish, this is the list of my books in Goodreads:
URBAN FANTASY / THRILLER / TERROR
Raíz
El Juego del Diablo: Una novela de suspense y terror psicológico
Tabula Rasa
Ellos nos quieren a todos
Décimas
Inmóviles
CHILDREN
Julieta en busca del Arcoíris
Sandy, un unicornio entre dos mundos
Is great to be here!

I just found this group!
I'm a New Zealand novelist, almost finished my 4th novel. I have written one women's fiction and my last two books have been love stories set around the Vietnam War. When I speak to groups I tell them I'm on a mission to get men reading love stories under the guise of war stories, LOL and strangely enough I have had amazing feedback from men who have loved the stories!
I love writing about the 60s and 70s and especially love writing stories set during the war from a NZ perspective.
You can find me on Facebook and here on Goodreads or my website is: carolebrungar.com
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I am also doing a couple of Amazon giveaways, through August 29:

I'm Skye, and I've just released my debut contemporary romance, NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK. "NSFW" is a rivals-to-lovers office romance set in my hometown of Nashville, TN. It's the first book in my Anti-Belle series, and I can't wait for everyone to meet Celeste and Ben!
I'm actively seeking readers and reviewers, and would absolutely love to be part of an author interview or blog post! Let's connect and support each other!
cheers,
Skye

Hi everyone,
I’m excited to be part of this group! My newest book, “Flying Alone: A Memoir” has a launch date of October 14th, though it is already for sale on Amazon, etc. I’m hoping that some of you will be interested in reviewing it.
I’ll be looking for books to read and review through this group.

Hope all is well at your end :-)
I joined the group a few years ago, but it's been a while since I was active here, so I thought it might be a good idea to re-introduce myself. This way I could perhaps catch up with old friends and get connected with the new members :-)
My name is Ramla Zareen, and I'm an avid reader of mystery and romance books, these days leaning more towards light-hearted contemporary romances.
Some of my favourite romance authors include: Judith McNaught, Julie James, Robin Bielman, Jennifer Shirk, Kristan Higgens, Rachael Anderson, Ashley Mallory, Zeenat Mahal, Adite Banerjie, Sapna Bhog, Mahi Jay, Shilpa Suraj, Ruchi Vasudeva . . . and the list goes on, lol.
One great news at my end is that I'm now also a self-published author on Amazon :-)
My book is titled The One for Me

It's a light-hearted, romantic fiction, set in modern-day Pakistan.
I love connecting with fellow book-lovers, so please feel free to send me a friend request if you like :-)
Thank you!

My name is River Smith and I'm the author of the book ''Like She Is In Him'', an arresting collection of radical, lyric, and performative poetry!

I invite you to enter my giveaway for a chance to win a signed copy of my book. Four days still left. Don't miss this opportunity!
I am also interested in a review exchange. Contact me in private for that.
Best regards,
River

My name's Colin but people call me Col.
I'm new to Goodreads and have recently joined because I'm about to self-publish my first novel, which is all a little daunting. It's a financial thriller - my wife tells me that's an oxymoron but I've worked in financial markets all my life and you're always advised to write about what you know.
I try to read thrillers an historical fiction when I have time, but I write a macroeconomic newsletter which involves a lot of 'that sort' of reading so my consumption of other my peers is disappointingly low.
Anyway, it's great to join the group. I'll be a little coy to begin with, I feel rather like it's my first day at school!
Therefore, hello everyone, just for the moment I'll just 'smile and wave.'
Col

I have been reading books for quite some time now and finally decided to start a book blog where I review books, make tbr's and there stuff :) https://beyondnovels.wordpress.com. I'm accepting review requests!
