Hi! I’m Suzanne Brown. I’m a new, self published author and I publish under the name S. K. Brown. I live near Tacoma, Washington. I write romantic suspense/thrillers. I just published my first three books which are all in a series. I just started my ninth book last month. I’m new to the book promotion scene and I think I like the writing part a lot better!I love to read a wide range of books from the classics to spy thrillers to romance, etc. I’m so excited about finding this group! It’s so nice to have a place to make connections.

Welcome and Ditto, I HATE marketing. And I especially dislike begging for reviews, which I think is just as awful as the marketing part.But, the key is getting a few books out. Looks like you've done that so good luck!

Hello,I'm an avid reader of fiction since the first day I walked into a library and fell in love with the shelves of books there. As an author of a travel memoir and now a middle grade book, I read that genre as well. I pulled from my volunteer travels to Indonesia to write about orangutans in adventure format. Hope to keep readers on the edge of their seat. When I'm not writing, I'm taking care of my grandkids or practicing yoga or rowing crew on Lake Union here in Seattle. Looking forward to this group.
Hi!Juan José Díaz Téllez here. I'm a spanish writer. My genres usually go from urban fantasy to paranormal thriller, but I also write for children. By now, my books are only written in spanish (I had a bad experience with a poor translation of one of my books, so next time I want to do things better). Thank you. I'm new to the group but not to writing. Four books, two non-fictions on the paranormal and parapsychology subjects. Two novels: both set in Scotland and then move to San Francisco, California. Immigrants, family and how it changes over the years, and the other, Summer of Love the usual sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll with lies, betrayal and murder. Next project: sequel to one novel, another book video and recently optioned one book for a film.

I'm a New Zealand novelist, almost finished my 4th novel. I have written one women's fiction and my last two books have been love stories set around the Vietnam War. When I speak to groups I tell them I'm on a mission to get men reading love stories under the guise of war stories, LOL and strangely enough I have had amazing feedback from men who have loved the stories!
I love writing about the 60s and 70s and especially love writing stories set during the war from a NZ perspective.

Hello everyone. I'm R.J. Most of my current reading is audiobooks (I hope that's not cheating). I basically have 3 jobs, so it's hard to carve out time for something more traditional. I'm new to Goodreads and have recently joined because I'm about to self-publish my first novel, which is all a little daunting. It's a financial thriller - my wife tells me that's an oxymoron but I've worked in financial markets all my life and you're always advised to write about what you know.
I try to read thrillers an historical fiction when I have time, but I write a macroeconomic newsletter which involves a lot of 'that sort' of reading so my consumption of other my peers is disappointingly low.
Anyway, it's great to join the group. I'll be a little coy to begin with, I feel rather like it's my first day at school!
