Hi, All! I'm Kathy Zebert, and although I've been writing inspirational/educational pieces for my professional trade journals (I'm a court reporter), I've also blogged about cooking/baking/jewelry design/sewing, etc. I've just published my debut romance/murder-mystery novel, Incredulity. You can find me on Facebook https://facebook.com/kzauthor, and of course, all the other social media sites. But Twitter scares me a little :DI read for a living, but primarily legal transcripts, unfortunately. But my preference would be short books (less than a 2-hour read) which are inspirational or anything that has a happy ending!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Shipmates,Hello. I'm Malcolm Torres, author of sea stories, dealing with life on battleships and adventures in ports of call around the world. Don't stop reading yet (lol) my writing is highly accessible to all adult readers. It's not full of Navy jargon and not dealing with wooden ships or pirates. My stories and novels take place between the 1980s and the near future. My stories and novels feature strong female sailors, scandals among the crew, travel adventures in exotic locations, crime stories, fights, brave sailors facing disasters on the high seas, smuggling, corrupt officers, phantom sailors, plane crashes and love stories. I'm interested in connecting with readers who like sea stories and getting to know fellow authors. My short story, SIXTY-FOUR DAYS, is free on all the eBook sites. It has 150 positive reviews across the various sites. It is the #1 most downloaded Sea Adventure on Smashwords and has been in the top-10 on the Amazon Short Mystery-Thriller-Suspense list for the past 6 months. If you'd like to read this story, you can grab a free copy here with no strings attached:

Hi! I've been focusing on a nearly obsessive fascination with atlantis since I was a teenager. At some point i began gathering all my research into a fictional saga. My first book is now released. It's called shadows of atlantis: awakening. Thanks for having me in the group! It's nice to meet you all and connect with other authors.
Hello everyone! Since completion of my first novel, I had to push myself to do something that as a born introvert, I'm really, REALLY not used to: promoting myself. I feel like I'm bragging! I'm hoping to find a friendly group here and...make connections. :)
