Hello, welcome!

I am joining this group as I need to learn more about the marketing end and make connections.
Look forward to learning!

I am Jesú Estrada (my author name is Dr. María J. Estrada, don't ask).
I just put out my sixth and seventh short books on Amazon:

Now, I am focusing on ads and marketing for both.
I am also looking for friends and followers on Goodreads. I follow back.

I'm Darlene Jones and I've published 7 books - my goal was one! LOL.
Four are a sci-fi series - aliens take over a woman's life and use her as their agent to "fix" earth.
One is a collection of vignettes - most humorous.
The two most recent are mystery/adventure which include a trek across the Sahara to escape the bad guys.
Thanks for letting me post here.
Happy reading.

I also write a lot--both reviews of what I read, and also fantasy or suspense. I'm hoping to have my first novel (a thriller) out for publishing in a few months.
I'm looking forward to connecting with more readers here so I'm excited to join this group with you guys!

I'm a German author, writing mostly fantasy and SF in German and in English. I'm practically bilingual and can switch my thinking from one language to the other, generally without accidents, but...
I love books with happy or at least solid, satisfying endings, upbeat stories and fast action.
I've been on the interwebs for ages, and some may know my horsie avatar and my old nick "Firle" from other places. Would love to reconnect, if you do!

Feel free to add me and I will do so in return as I’m always wanting to read reviews from those with the same interests and even those who don’t! Will be more than happy to post honest reviews for writers on here as well should I come across your book and it’s available!

I live in Michigan near the Detroit area.
Oh, and I'm a cat person. =P

I really enjoy reading books with humour (e.g. Janet Evanovich and books written by comedians such as Jim Gaffigan) but I also like a good mystery with a strong female protagonist and a bit of humour (e.g. Sue Grafton, Joanne Fluke).
I was drawn to this group because it was located in Canada and I live in Ontario, Canada. In addition, I looked around a bit and felt that the author resources were great and the group members seemed to be very open and friendly.
I am fairly new to Goodreads so am just trying to figure out how things work. I look forward to getting to know some new people (readers and authors alike)!
