Author - My name is James VandenBrink. I write poetry I can best describe as "disturbing" as I can. I'm on social media but have never published nor am too interested to do so at this point. A friend introduced me and I am interested very much in what this group seems to offer. A chance to bounce ideas and see if we are both on the same page. I'm easy going but not when it comes to my poetry. I stand or fall on it. I try to be as real as I can and keep anonymity unless I'm obviously speaking of myself. I don't know where to start here. I have no blog or website. I wouldn't know how to get one as I am a novice on pc. Do you still want me in your group?
Hi everyone,My name is Kathleen Collier and I've recently published my first book "Mayhem and Madness" which is a romantic comedy. It's going great guns, including recently hitting a top 100 best sellers list on Amazon (I have no idea how that happened and I still can't quite believe it, but I'll take it!).
I have a newfound respect for any author - in particular, Indie authors!! Putting a book out there is scary, but such an achievement. Hats off to every author.
I love reading paranormal - any kind, but with a preference to something with humour in it. Romance is also a favourite read.
That's great Kathleen. Happy for you for hitting a top 100 best sellers list. Me, I'm going for New York Times best-sellers list. I always aim high and miss the moose :). Who knows. Since I'm new I'm wondering if I can put poetry here or not. Maybe it's just discussion - I don't know. Maybe someone could get back to me on that. Thank you and have a good night... rgds, James

I joined as I have just finished writing my first crime novel and I`m trying to learn how to go about publishing it and getting some reviews on Amazon.
