Simi and Patrick,Doug contacted me and when I emailed him back offering to mail him a paperback copy of my novel, I didn't hear from him again. It's difficult to know who is sincere and who isn't. Because Doug came to me from this Goodreads site I felt he was trustworthy. But apparently, that isn't the case. Does anyone have ideas about how to tell the genuine offers from the inauthentic?

Hi Everyone,I'm Hawaa Ayoub. I'm an author and my first book, a literary fiction titled When a Bulbul Sings about a girl taken from Britain forced to marry a man in Yemen, discusses and explores forced and child marriage.
I love to read and I love to write.
I'm new to Goodreads and finding it difficult to raise awareness about my book. I'm doing a Giveaway where free copies of my book in Kindle version will be given to winners, but I don't know how to get the word out about it.
The Giveaway starts at 12:00am PT on Tuesday, July 10 and ends at 11:59pm PT on Saturday, August 4.

Hello everyone. I'm Jo DeFord and I have just published my first book. 'The Secret Must be Kept' is out on Amazon. It is a fantasy/romance. I updated the old werewolf tale with some new twists. The book does have a few dark areas and crime, along with a few adult passages. It has humor, romance, and I hope some memorable characters. This is not a children's book.

Hi, I'm Jo and I live in the UK.My favourite reads are character-driven stories that make me think and feel. I read a lot of YA, but I also love a good epic fantasy or an edge-of-the-seat mystery.
My LGBT YA, Elephant Shoe, has been available on Amazon for little over a month now, and although it is not proving to be the sprinting success a little part of me devoutly hoped it would be, I am really happy with the feedback it has so far received :)
