message 2619: by David (new)

David Lees Hello I'm David from England and have recently self published my first novel. Great to hear experiences from other authors as I don't personally know anyone who's ever written a novel.
Even though my sales to people not known to me are still in single figures it's hugely exciting to know someone's reading my work. I've even been given a 5 star review by someone I don't know.

Jessiqua Hello! I'm Jess :). I'm originally from Texas. I have two books out on Amazon and working hard to put out a third before late spring/early summer.
I'm jut starting this process of being a (published) author and combing through the plethora of information keeps me up at night-lol
My readers put my book up on Goodreads before I knew what it was. So glad I found it! Thanks for having me in the group.

message 2623: by Nico (new)

Nico Genes My name is Nico and I am a writer. On 13th of January 2018 I published my second novel 'Reverie Girl'. The first one, 'Magnetic Reverie', has been published in may 2017. The writer I am but, first, I am a human being. The human being that finds the most of happiness by relating and helping people around me making their life more satisfying and meaningful.
I experienced living in three countries (Romania, Croatia, Slovenia), learned the languages, traveled, met lots of interesting and different people who helped me have a wider view upon many life issues. In time I gathered so many thoughts and topics that I felt the urge to write about them, but there was always lack of time. But only since last year when having more time for myself, family and friends I felt that writing and helping people is what fulfills me the most. So I started a new adventure, as an author and blogger (www.nicojgenes.com/blog).

Both of my novels in The Reverie series ('Magnetic Reverie' (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) & 'Reverie Girl' (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...)) were written on the magical coast of Adriatic Sea in the beautiful city of Šibenik, Croatia. The main message wrapped up subtly in this intriguing romantic novel is to help awake anyone that still has any prejudices regarding non-traditional relationships.

message 2635: by Zlatka (new)

Zlatka Hello everyone,

my name is Zlatka and I write mostly short stories. Best way to follow them up is via my Facebook author page or on Medium www.facebook.com/zlatkalarsen

I wrote a urban fantasy Counting Shadows and currently working on second volume. I wrote it originally as a paranormal romance with a strong heroine, it turned out to be a bit cross-genre but still fun. So, if you want to read about a reluctant witch whose secret is revealed because a vampire asks her for help with his ex and then it all goes down south... Plus if you would advise me on what genre it is(as it has some thriller parts as well), you're very welcome. My advice is to read it on Tapas for free: tapas.io/series/countingshadows and it is also on wattpad (and Amazon)

Charles Ameringer Hi, I'm Charles. I've just published "The Sons of Hernan Garcia." If you think Venezuela is in a bad way today, you ought to read this dark tale that takes place there about 100 years ago. It's about five bastard sons who would like to do in Papa, only he is the dictator-president of the country and has a squad of national security police to protect him. There's a series of deadly encounters to determine who assassinates whom. Check it out at: goodreads.com/book/show/38332561-the-...
