I'm Jordan, a Goodreads author and reader.
I don't know how these groups work. So if this post appears inappropriate, let me know. (:
Anyway, I recently published a poetry book called 'Cursed' on Amazon Kindle Store.
Goodreads gave me an author profile. I know its no big deal but I'm very excited about it. I always wanted to become a writer. I love that label.
See you around!

I'm glad to have joined the group and look forward to the discussion!

Just to let you know, even though you might be new to the indie world, there is always a chance you might in some way or another be nominated for an award.
As for I, that is the case. My first book is coming up to a year being indie published. I have just released the brand new updated cover. Completely different to the old one.
And thanks to many beautiful people, I have been nominated in the AusRom Today Reader's Choice Awards - for Best New Author.
Moral of the story, never give up your dream of writing. Even if it is mainly for yourself. You can do anything you place your mind to achieve.
Here is the link to see the talented Aussie authors for the award.
It is a privilege to be amongst them.
It is a facebook link. If you would like to vote for any of the authors, you have to hit LIKE on the photo with the authors name.

Hello my name is Dr. Angela Miles Daniels and I just published my first book (memoir) in June titled Angie's Journey: Beating the Odds. I am in the process of writing part two titled From Teen Mom to Dr. Miles Daniels.
I wrote these two memoirs to provide young minority teenagers with a true story of perseverance and I hope to reach as many readers as possible so they can that you don't always have to be a product of your environment and with hard work and dedication anything is possible.

My name is B.A. Gabrielle and I love writing paranormal, fantasy, young adult romance and new adult romance books. All my book ideas are from a dream I had, and I do my best to paint the picture that was bestowed upon me onto the pages of my books. I'm an avid reader, love anime and manga, and spending time with my family. My favorite anime is Naruto and my favorite manga is Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji. I also know Japanese and am a JPN to ENG translator in my spare time.
My first book debuted on December 10, 2016 and my next book, which is a new adult romance novella, is due on Christmas Eve. People really seemed to like my first book, (Un)Graceful Cat, so I can't wait to share all my stories with the world!
I hope I'm able to make connections with my fellow authors and readers! (^o^)/

My name is Anne Mason. I am a traditionally published children's book author. I have a new book that was released in October 2017. Due to the subtle message regarding the importance of literacy, the book promotion is currently focused on this subject matter. I am honored and humbled to be a speaker and panelist during the World Literacy Summit at the University of Oxford, England in March 2018.
I enjoy reviewing all types of children's books and providing writing tips and strategies. I look forward to wonderful and informative conversations with the group.
Warmest good wishes,
AnneMason

Thanks for letting me join! I'm looking forward to re-entering the Goodreads community.

It's never too late to read good books.

Inspirational! I hope your books reach and elevate thousands.

My name is Nev. I run a small publicity business called Confessions Publicity. There are a few people who are part of Horror Aficionados (and possibly here) who could vouch for me as not being a spammer.
I run publicity tours for authors when they have a new book coming out, and that is the main reason for my post today.
I need some more people with blogs and websites who would be willing to work with me on these tours.
Now, I run everything in a very relaxed way. I am a reviewer myself and one of things that annoyed me most about book tours was the rigid way that some of them were “enforced”. I stopped doing them myself from a reviewer’s point of view, so I know what it can be like to be pestered and I promise never to do that.
When I run a tour, all I ask for is a review of the book and a guest post or interview to run on consecutive nights, on dates, agreed between ourselves. If you can’t do a date that I suggest or vice versa, we work together to see what we can manage. If you can’t do a guest post or interview, then that is probably fine as well, although I do like to give the authors as much exposure as I can. That’s it. That’s as tough as I get.
Most of the authors I deal with write horror and dark fiction but there will be occasions when I may have a thriller or crime book on offer, but the chances are that they will also be of the darker variety.
So, if you are interested in working with me on some tours, please get in touch either via message on Goodreads or email me at confessionspublicity@gmail.com
I have a tour ongoing at the minute that I have a few slots open on for this book http://amzn.to/2yCeJYf and I will have another couple of tours starting before Christmas.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks.
Nev.
PS If this is not the way it is done in this group, I apologise and please let me know where I should be posting.

Hi, Michelle. I've published a children's picture book, and now I write adult mysteries. I also teach lit. and creative writing. I believe we all grow as readers and writers when we connect with others around the literature. Looking forward to having a conversation here. --Saralyn

I am co-writing a series for preschoolers aimed to calm and settle young children before sleep time (Dream Wonderland) and also a middle-grade series that I'm writing solo. I'm keen to connect with readers and authors who'd be interested in getting a free copy of my books and a truthful review! Available in epub, mobi and PDF.
Also happy to look at reviewing other children's books, Sci-Fi etc)
Cheers!
