Patrick McNulty Like I mentioned earlier my name is Patrick McNulty and I'm a relatively new author of supernatural thrillers and action filled horror novels. I'm always looking for some reviews and some positive feedback. If anyone is interested my book SLEEPERS AWAKE is currently FREE for a limited time on Amazon. Also I'd love to meet up with like minded authors in person. I'm living in Southern Ontario at the moment so if anyone is writing in from around there feel free to drop me a line. Thanks a lot and take care.

Sue Plumtree Hello everybody! My second book ('Open Your Heart: The 7 Secrets Of Strong And Loving Relationships') is due to be launched on 21 September and I would love a review.

I love to write - when not books, then blogs about relationships - what makes them joyful, what makes them painful, what promotes intimacy, what causes distance.

I was married 37 (mostly unhappy) years and, after years of denial, I finally left at the tender age of 60. Thirteen years later, aged 70, I met Paul, the man who turned out to be my soulmater, my friend, lover and partner. Through him I learned what it takes to build a solid and loving relationship.

In my book I share everything I've learned over the years. I'm passionate to enable people build strong and loving relationships and my book is intended to do just that.

What should I do next? Many thanks!, Sue Plumtree

Joe Mahoney Hi everyone... I'm happy to have found this group. My first novel A Time and a Place launches Oct 1st from Five Rivers Press, an independent Canadian Publisher. It's science fiction with undercurrents of humour and a little bit of philosophising, and is set in Prince Edward Island (when not on other planets...) Like many of the rest of you, I'm trying to figure out how to market it. Any advice welcome! I'm happy to share it with anyone willing to write an honest review.

Hi Rudy, your book sounds absolutely fantastic! My book is called 'Open Your Heart: The 7 Secrets Of Strong And Loving Relationships' and is due to be launched on 21 September. My big (steep) learning curve is marketing it. You can learn a lot from the internet and also from Goodreads! Good luck! Sue Plumtree

Patrick, it really does take an amazing amount of work. One approach that could possibly help you is to look into Jason Ladd's BOOK REVIEW BANZAI...he promotes applying technology to help cut through some of the work to find reviewers. It can be helpful, but its just the beginning. Good luck with it!

Elizabeth Ducie Good Morning All. I am new to this group, although I've been on Goodreads for a while. I'm just about to launch my third novel (my 11th self-published book). So far, I've been more successful with paperbacks than ebooks, but am determined to change that this time around. I write thrillers (plus short stories and business skills books for writers).

I'm also a reader - I love romances, capers, thrillers, and certain fantasy/sci-fi! Nothing really beats laying in a tub with a great book and no time limit, am I right?!

Arvin Brgha Hi everyone,

My name is Arvin da Brgha. I’m a Canadian author who has recently published a dream memoir – Merlin and Arvin: A Shamanic Dream Odyssey and an accompanying Michael Overleaves appendix – A Six Volume Michael Overleaves Appendix.

These are the first books in a spiritual odyssey series, which spans past lives through dreams of myself and my late lover, Merlin, as our souls evolve. Reincarnation, past-life dreams and Michael Teachings overleaves add depth and insights to our star-crossed love story.

Being new to Goodreads, I’d love to connect with other like-minded individuals, so please feel free to add me as a friend on Goodreads, or connect with me on Facebook (@authorarvindabrgha) or through my website: www.arvindabrgha.com.

Thanks and sweet dreams!

Eric Stevens I'm Eric Stevens. This is my first publication and it is a short story. "His Guide in the Night" is available on Amazon only. The audiobook was just released and was incredibly performed by Nick Podehl. He made me feel as though I didn't write the story. Available on Audible, Amazon and iTunes.

I consider it to be YA, inspirational with a touch of Christian Fantasy. It's really hard to place it into just one genre. My mistake was releasing it without any pre-advertising at all. I really don't know how to get my story out there.

Though it is a short story with only 29 pages, I feel short stories can be just as entertaining as a novel.

I'm a huge advocate for short stories, I love fantasy above all, but I can read just about anything.

Hello everyone!

Arvin Brgha Hello Bibliophiles... I am Arvin da Brgha and though I have always had a goodreads account, I have never really fully leapt into things... to this point.

You can always check out my blog: www.dreampoetica.com

Thus far, I have published volume one of what are Human Civilisation's First Dream Memoirs. Six volumes in all, volume two appears this fall. I shall have a FB Livestream of the launch.

Earlier this year, I launched volume one in London, England on June 21, 2017. Positively love London! `I currently live in Toronto, though, I would leap at a moment's notice and relocate to London, England.

With each volume, there is an accompanying appendix of Michael Overleaves -- as per the Michael Teachings -- The story was mandated by Merlin, my partner, and the story of Merlin and I are advanced by dreams which were audiocassette-recorded over the span of ten years, beginning the year before Merlin's passing.

Now that the books are being launched and less of the herculean task of transcribing the 250 audiocassette tapes of recorded dreams to filter which ones are included in the memoirs, I am becoming more bibliophically focussed...

Currently, I am exploring Zadie Smith, just downloaded four of her books onto my trusty KOBO.

Do enjoy exploring the adventure of Human Civilisation's First Dream Memoirs: Merlin and Arvin: A Shamanic Dream Odyssey and the appendices: A Six Volume Michael Overleaves Appendix.

Sweet dreams and happy reading...

Arvin da Brgha

Hi there Tana and all the moderators and thank you for accepting me in this group.
Hello everyone, I’m Olwen, I live on the Wirral Peninsular, near Liverpool, UK and I’m a first time author. I published my main book on Amazon recently, it’s accompanying recipe book is available free from my web site.
I can honestly say, that so far writing and publishing has been an experience and a huge learning curve.
I read a wide variety of genres, always happy to expand my knowledge, or enjoy a good sci-fi, adventure or comedy themed book, but, I don’t like horror or war stories.
I’m excited to ‘meet’ you all and I am looking forward to learning from all of your experiences and tips.
Thanks
Olwen

Erin Jensen Hi everyone!

My name is Erin Jensen. I'm a part time pharmacist, mother of 2 teenagers and a book lover (obviously) with fairly eclectic taste in books—although, fantasy is my favorite.

I published my debut adult urban fantasy novel, Dream Waters, in April 2016. amazon.com/Dream-Waters-Book-One-eboo...
Dream World (Book 2 in the Dream Waters series) was published in October 2016. And I'm hoping to release Book 3 this fall.

I stumbled upon this group while poking around Goodreads the other day and am looking forward to connecting with book bloggers, readers and fellow authors!

Thanks!

I'm a reader and a writer. So far I've published my first book Dreams Are For Doers, and I've just started my blog Life Unstuck. I love Self-help/How To, Sword and Sorcery, Biography and Memoirs, and YA.

I'm looking forward to having some great conversation and learning from all you wonderful people :)

Cherie Mitchell Hi Everyone! I'm Cherie, a New Zealand writer with a global outlook (I figure that if you can live in the best country in the world and connect with anyone, anywhere - why not?).

My first traditionally published book "Desire", a manuscript which was bought by a New York publishing house, is due out in October (exciting times). I am about to begin the author video promos (yikes).

And after ghostwriting more than 150 (10,000 words) e-books for a US publisher in the Historical Western Romance genre and observing the huge following these books now have (with no kudos to me, unfortunately!) I have launched my own line of Contemporary Western Romance books:

https://perfumeponiesandprairies.word...

Oh - and one more thing :) My first YA manuscript has received an expression of interest from a teen publisher in the States and I'm anxiously awaiting the next step. Every day is a new day at the moment and full of surprises. What a lovely way to live.

I'm looking forward to being part of this group :)
