I have been on Goodreads for years, but 2015 found me in a new area...a sudden catastrophic illness left me bed bound and unable to communicate. I have come a LONG way, and have just restarted my reviews and blogging.

I am excited to make new connections and new friends. I welcome any and all feedback! I read a pretty eclectic mix of genres, with my favorites being fiction, historical fiction, horror, and suspense and thriller.

Hi, Janet! It's nice meeting you! I'm sorry you went through that but am glad you're doing so much better! i'm looking forward to interacting withyou and reading your reviews! For me, I've always loved to read, but the past few years some health issues have been catching up with me and reading has become kind of an escape, it helps me keep my mind off of the pain. I started reviewing and blogging last year and it's helped me get to know some really great authors. Now, between those and my library books, I never run out of books lol...I hope you have a great day!

Hi, I've been a member of Goodreads for several years now, but I feel that I am new to it. I have had MS for ten years, but three years ago, it got the better of me and I woke up one morning paralyzed. I was in a re-hab house for almost two years--had to learn to walk and talk again. It was rough. So, I'm starting over again. I have two novels published, but I don't know if I can do it again: my fingers are so crippled that it's hard to type--I can only use my two forefingers. I am P.I. Barrington and I write in several genres, but mainly in near-future sci-fi crime thrillers and sci-fi romance. Please don't tell V.W. Singer that I write character-driven sci-fi, lol. I WISH I was better at military sci-fi! I love to read it!

I'm actually from Southern California but recently had to relocate to Tennessee due to medical reasons. I worked in the music industry in LA and in radio after that.

I have five full novels published and am currently finishing the second book of my latest series, The Brede Chronicles. If anyone would like to review TBC Book One just let me know!

Congratulations on publishing two novels. I presume you have or are looking into alternate ways of communicating so that your writing is not so dependent on your hands. I live near Boston but have also lived in Indonesia and India, and have traveled or worked in 35 countries, mostly in Africa, Asia and South East Europe. I recall, as a child, sitting in a garden, eating a Granny Smith apple and reading a great book, and thinking, "There are few things in life better than this!" I still feel that way.
