I published my first book, The Emperor's Horn, a month ago today! Now I'm trying to balance marketing with writing the next book in the series.
Hope everyone is able to enjoy some sunshine this weekend.

Good luck with your giveaway Christine. With your background I'm sure your novels are very interesting.

I'm Angela, I started reading in Grade 6 when we had to read The Giver and just never stopped!
I read just about anything I can get my hands on (even product labels, aha)
I always enjoyed writing, I just could never write a whole book (maybe one day)
I stumbled across goodreads not long ago and am still learning how to get the most out of it.
Anyways, Hi!

I am now awiating the publication of my second book called El Dorado? No! Heathrow Airport and its about my 5 years working as a Security Officer at the busiest airport in a Major city in the world. It is in three parts, the first all about passengers behavoiur when at the security screening areas the second about security staff and how they behave and the third part is all about how managmeent treat their staff, the passengers and profit versus security.
It is releveant read in our current world of air travel and terrorism.

I will tell you a little bit about myself! I am Trisha J Kelly, Author of Children's Fantasy. After waiting too many years I have finally taken the plunge and delved into the world of book-writing. Boy, I wished I hadn't waited so long, I love it! I am steaming ahead with my Scarlett and Mason Series of books, two are released already on Amazon, Discovering Witchetty Waters and In the wrong lifetime, had great 5* reviews on Amazon and on here, thank you readers, really appreciate that. Number Three The Rise of Sorcha is available for pre-order release date tomorrow the 21st April. That's me I am glad to meet you all and look forward to interacting. :)

Literature is evolving. When a "horror" writer gains more notoriety than many, if not most writers who are considered timeless and great, mainstream editors/publishers are in some fashion dictating the course of literature. Change is the only constant including the changing quality of the gatekeepers to mainstream literature. Maybe an analogy are Hollywood movies today. There was a golden age of movies which is gone. The good news is that any "golden age" in anything may reappear. Even our politicians are third rate from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush to Barack Obama. (Oh, some historians rate Obama # 12 in pantheon of presidents.) My point is that values and ethics and facts have gatekeepers in our world. Yes, and there always has been gatekeepers. Are the distortions in everything, including news, more widespread than in the past, or is the same or do some claim there is less distortion because technology improves our perceptions of reality? My two cents as introduction.

I'm a relatively new blogger (http://www.forever-fictional.blogspot...) that's looking for some new followers and friends!
xx
I too am new to Goodreads! Thanks for welcoming me into the 'love of books' community. I'm residing in the Central Valley of California, grew up in NW Indiana (south of Chicago). I'm not a book writer nor publisher, although I've been encouraged to blog. I have yet to learn. I do adoption Social Work and my goal is to do individual & couples therapy p/t once I'm licensed, so learning how to build a practice while maintaining rapport with my friends, associates and nearby neighbors is important to feed my soul...along with patio gardening, exercising, cooking family recipes, light traveling and of course...reading...when I'm not relaxin' with my cat Juniper and husband. Not on Goodreads daily however I am on FB kerry.cannon.14 or LinkedIn if you want to connect there. Otherwise, I offer up a reading & chatting friend if you want. Enjoy your Sunday! -Regards, Kerry :)
Thanks Tana, I'm excited to be here amongst this reading community :)

I'm someone who likes reading very much, but doesn't have much time to do so. Audiobooks to the rescue!
My reading goal for this year is 35, and I listened to 20 already :)
It goes fast when you're running, biking, commuting or in the gym.
I also like writing reviews. It's like my mini-game after the book is done.
My last review is a bit unusual, as it was an experiment. Don't hate me :)
It's for the book For We Are Many , book #2 in the Bobiverse series.
A Sci-Fi dystopian story and I'm upset because there's no more. It was published last week :)
If you like reading/writing reviews, feel free to friend me up :)
I like reading other people's thoughts but this, sadly, usually turns out to be a paragraph at most :(

Though I work for a Publishing House in TX, I live in the great Buckeye State, and absolutely LOVE my Ohio State Buckeyes.
Sweets and Redbull are my guilty pleasures, and I love meeting new readers/authors. (Waves!) It's truly a pleasure to meet all of you!

I’m L.J. Kane, the author of the debut novel, Snatch Girl, a suspense kidnap thriller/romance. I enjoy reading thrillers, and books that make you laugh-out-loud. I love movies too, the grittier, the better!
I’m looking forward to interacting with everyone and making friends.
I live in the UK, and I’m pretending that it’s really warm outside right now…
Kindest regards,
L.J.
Hi there, my name's Lloyd, born and raised in England, Lincolnsire and I'm 25 years old!
I have a dream of writing stories and sharing those stories with the whole world. To stare blankly into the void of a blank screen and to type the very first letter is magic. I was once told by a fellow author that the closest thing that we humans have to magic is our imagination and our ability to create stories.
Write whatever comes to mind, regardless of its content. Sooner or later you’ll have created a whole world with characters and places. Your story will become alive and it will become a part of you and all those that you decide to share your story with.

As a break, I enjoy immersing myself in novels and I love poetry. I live with my husband, poet Guarionex Delgado, and we spend a lot of time with our grandchildren, who live nearby. We live in a beautiful, wooded area outside Nevada City, California, with a vegetable garden and fruit trees.

I like to write mystery/thriller/suspense stories. Usually the character is suffering from a mental illness or depression. I was diagnosed Bipolar back in 2004 and try to be an advocate of that.
