Annika Hi everyone!
My name's Annika and I'm from Germany. I'm definitely not a writer (neither in English nor in German), but I'm addicted to reading and GoodReads. Favorite genres are romance and Urban Fantasy, but I also enjoy some mystery or dystopia now and again.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys. :-)

Amelia Hey all. I've been on Goodreads forever but I've never really used it but I'm working on trying to use it more as it seems to have a great community.
I've been a YA book blogger for over 7 years now (started when I was like 12/13) and it's developed into a small business and I'm working on making it grow! But university. All of that good work. You can check out my website for fun reviews of books and movies as well as book tours and author interviews (https://mylibrarycardworeout.com/). And from there you can find my contact page to see everywhere else I'm on....sadly almost everywhere. I do regular reviews which is what I prefer but also video reviews too but that's just on the side.

I just love to read in generally and sometimes just read a book to read it and not review it. It's sometimes too good to review. I just tell people or I like to keep some books secret. Special to only me!
So hey all! Can't wait to see what this community is like!

P. Zoro Hi Everyone

I'm P. Zoro from Zimbabwe living in Harare with my husband and four sons. I write fantasy set in Africa and short story collections. Reading is something I can't live without. I have been on Goodreads for a while now, but I have not interacted much with bloggers. Looking forward to that in this group.

My work can be seen on my Goodreads profile. I also have a book running a Kindle Scout Campaign until 16 November here:

https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/2QJT...

I believe it is the first African fantasy accepted on Kindle Scout and hope they will publish it.

Shoshanah Shear Hi, I'm Shoshanah. I'm needing to make connections and finding GoodReads rather overwhelming so I hope this group will help me.

The truth is I find reading difficult, but I do read. Types of books I enjoy to read are self-help, motivation, books related to my profession of occupational therapy, growth, Judaism, auto-biographies, books related to writing.

I began writing my first book after I had battled with a chronic illness for 10 years or more. Still have bouts with the illness and the manuscript is still waiting for me to edit it. I came across self-publishing when my mother asked me to help her prepare a manuscript of her first teenage novel for CreateSpace. After that, I co-authored a book together with my husband, a children's book illustrated with photographs. Tuvia Finds His Freedom
My own book has just come out Healing Your Life Through Activity: An Occupational Therapist's Story
I'm needing to make contact to review the book, assist with a virtual book tour and then effective ways to promote online.

Aside from this, since helping my mother with her book, I do offer both book reviews and interviews of authors. The Genre's I review are children's books, especially positive ones that help promote reading, books in my profession of occupational therapy, self-help, personal development, Judaism.

I have some reviews and interviews on my blog and some on the blog I manage to market my mother's books. If anyone is interested in the link I am happy to share it.

I like to support indie authors, especially those who do not yet have 5 reviews as I find some reviewers will only accept a book if you have 10 reviews or more.

Jeff Walker Hello,

My name is Jeff Walker, I've finally written my first short story collection book and hope to continue to do more. I'm mainly into doing Sci Fi works and currently have several stories in works.

I've been mainly known for some of my fan fiction stories (Star Wars, Transformers, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Etc.), but trying to break out of that and create my own titles. Hasn't been easy....but I try my best to plug away at it as much as I can.

Cheers!

David Lloyd Hi everyone, I'm David Lloyd, Author of Gulf Coast City. After selling my employment agency in a Southeastern resort town, I moved as far south as he could. Now I'm fifty, happily married and enjoying life in Southwest, Florida.

I enjoy tennis and writing. I recently finished my first novel, called Gulf Coast City, which was influenced from running an employment agency that provided temporary staff for anything from hotel housekeepers to exotic dancers and everything in between.

I'm enjoying the heck out of Goodreads and have met some interesting folks here as well. If you'd like to connect please send me a friend request.

I like to post links for free downloads of my ebook on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DavidLloydNo...

message 1722: by James (last edited Nov 26, 2016 10:17PM) (new)

James Dyar My name is Jim, and I'm up all night. This has lead me to leave my native wilderness in northern Maine because frankly, I've never been able to get a moose to provide a decent latté at two in the morning. I do ghost hunting, amateur astronomy, and up until a couple years ago when I broke my wrist I was in pretty deep into the world of cartooning. Rather than give up and accept a slow down, I broke out a couple old manuscripts I had written back in the early nineties and thought I'd make a go of it. The book I have listed here is Heroic Measures and I'll be releasing book two of the series early 2017. Pleased to meet all of you :)

Hitesh Nariani Hi.
Myself Hitesh from India. A bit different work is to tell about yourself. I want to describe myself as a dreamer, a believer, a budding author and most importantly a reader. I love to read books having romance and suspense. My aim is to maximise my reading collection and if possible to maximise my own books.

Martin Hello. My name is Martin. I am a member of the U.S. Navy and I enjoy discussing and reading books. I enjoy hearing other people's opinion about different topics due to the fact that different people are able to provide an outlook on a topic that you may or may not have even thought of. And also because I just like to talk haha. My favorite genre to read is fantasy, mostly epic fantasy novels. I hope I am able to interact and meet new individuals.
I also have a new blog that I am working on with mostly book reviews and Game of Thrones related things so if you are just curious about it, the site is in my profile. Thanks.

Gordon Kuhn Hello, my name is Gordon Kuhn. I have several books listed on Goodreads with my most recent being a narrative nonfiction true crime: Predator, The Man Who Didn't Exist; "Do You Know How to Fly?" This is a book about a career criminal who finds his way to Florida after 15 1/2 years in Federal prison for bank robbery. In six months he is a suspect in 12 violent robberies of elderly women living alone. There are two murders. I have spent 6 1/2 years on this book interviewing not only law enforcement, victims, victims families and friends, but the killer's fiancé and the killer himself. The book is available on line at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I also sell them with autograph at gkuhnwrites@aol.com.

Elaine HI,
i'm Elaine Bertolotti and I'd like to present my Christmas book. BECAUSE IT'S CHRISTMAS. I love Christmas and the holiday season so this is my second Christmas book. The first was CHRISTMAS AT MY DOORSTEP.
I will willingly send you a pdf copy if you're interested. here is the book description
Noelle would love nothing better than to spent the Christmas holidays at a stupendous inn in Vermont with her boyfriend. He instead, wants to avoid them altogether and so accepts to go on a business trip that would take him out of the country for the entire time. Noelle is disappointed but then with a little push from her best friend, decides to go to Vermont by herself. The Greenworth Inn that is spectacularly dressed up for Christmas, turns out to be the perfect place for her as there she meets people who are to become important in her life. Years later we meet her again and this time she and those dear to her are faced with a problem.. Friends or foe, Noelle and the others find themselves having to deal with a complicated situation that will effect their lives and the future of the Inn.
hope to hear from Christmas lovers like me!
Ciao from bell'ITALIA, ELAINE

message 1748: by H. (new)

H. Hello, hello :)

I'm Hannah. I'm not an author, but I love to read - particularly historical fiction & romances (clean), christian historical fiction, literary fiction, chick lit, travel & garden writing, and childrens books with themes of animals.

When I'm not reading, I enjoy jigsaw puzzles & board games, a little needlework, coloring, and gardening, when the weather is good. I have one cat and an Irish beau and I love chatting in groups, meeting like-minded friends, watching historical tv & films, British Bake Off, Downton Abbey, bone china teacups, and lemon cookies.

Barbara Storey Hello, everyone!

My name is Barbara Storey, and I'm an author and a reader. Currently I have a series of romance books coming out - Books One and Two came out in October and November ("Stranded With You" and "Introducing Us") and Book Three, "Finding Our Way" will be out on December 15!

I love historical fiction (think Outlander), epics like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, mysteries, and poetry. I was taught to read by my grandmother when I was barely three, and have been in love with books ever since.

Nice to meet you all!

Barbara
