Katherine Sherbrooke Greetings! I'm Katherine Sherbrooke. My debut novel, Fill the Sky, comes out on Oct. 20th. Very proud that Anita Shreve called it "richly imagined and beautifully rendered, a deeply moving novel." I've been working hard to come up the learning curve on what it takes to make a novel successful in this chaotic world. We'll see how it goes! I previously published a Family Memoir, Finding Home, on my own, so it feels good to have a team on my side and some reviewers out there ready to support the book. Glad to be part of the group!

Maggie Hi everyone, my name is Maggie Anderson (M.A. Anderson) and I write paranormal/urban fantasy, paranormal romance and contemporary steamy and clean romance. Apart from books, I write poetry and flash fiction too. I'm a voracious reader and will read all different genres, if the blurb and first couple of pages pull me into the story. Good to be here :)

message 1515: by Jackie (new)

Jackie Kingon Hi I'm Jackie Kingon. I wrote 2 cozy sic-fi comic mysteries: Chocolate Chocolate Moons that Kirkus Review said "delightful" and recently Sherlock Mars published by Guardbridge Books in Scotland.
Kirkus Review said of Sherlock Mars:
Molly’s Bistro, owned by Earthling Molly Marbles, is doing well in Mars’ capital of New Chicago. Virtual Vittles, a virtual-reality restaurant, has opened nearby, but when its dining experience leaves customers hungry, they make a beeline for Molly’s place. She and Virtual Vittles owner Rick Frances eventually collaborate on a dining event; unfortunately, it ends with Rick found dead at Molly’s Bistro.
An undeniably fun tale with a protagonist who can apparently handle anything

Cazandra Roodt A warm hello from Namibia. Im new to goodreads, and this group. I am a baker.. Yes :D, I bake for a living. I started a bucket list, and on it was "write a short book", since I love reading so much, I wanted to tell a story too. I finished my first book, and the second book is on the way. My short story turned into a longer story, until I decided it will be better to break it into 3 parts. I am hooked on writing now, It became an obsession. Who knew writing can be as much fun as reading. :P I got drawn into the world of publishing and have no idea what I am doing, and English being my second language makes it hard for me to get the book up to standard. Hopefully here I can get some guidelines, and be of help to someone else. Well, that is me in a nutshell. Hope to see you around.

Way to go on the anthology project. Something I want to do however, the romance genre is so mixed up. Tight Spiral is Romance/Football. That would be put me in raunchy or even erotica. Not good! My other two novels are Romance/cozy mystery and I may try find authors for this category.

Jolyse Barnett Hi, Jolyse Barnett here! I'm a reader, educator, and published romance author.

I write everything from silly kid poetry to middle grade fantasy to romance and thrillers. I'm currently published in contemporary romance with Christmas Light and The Rebel's Redemption, a romantic suspense/magical realism title called One More Sunset, and a romantic comedy, Text Me, Maybe.

As with my writing, my reading interests are eclectic, but I lean toward stories with complex storylines and emotional depth. Fresh twists and HEAs are a huge plus!

I enjoy being part of the GR community as a reader, and look forward to connecting with others here as an author as well.

Hey all. My name is Ortiz. A few things to know about me:

I’m a self-published author.
I live in New York City (but I root for the Red Sox)
I love science and engineering.
I’m a tinkerer (currently I’m reading Harry Potter in my 3rd learned language: French)

And…

I was devoutly against books with dragons, kings, queens, swords, wights and warlocks until I glanced upon George R.R. Martin’s, A Song of Ice and Fire series, and now I’m hooked. So I think I’m open to many genres (except for tween vampire novels, that I know) as long as it’s well written, full of information, and the characters are interesting. I don’t mind sad endings.

Sincerely,

Ortiz
