Welcome Mary Beth. I wish you a ton of sales and prosperity. I write crime fiction thrillers inspired by true life events inside organized crime. I believe there's always plenty of room for the genre you write in.

Hi all, I've been on GR for a while and just heard about this group from someone on a different group. It sounded interesting so here I am. I write under J Drew Brumbaugh though most people end up calling me Jim. I live in Northeast Ohio, write suspense novels, some that are science fiction some more mainstream and have a new fantasy novel, Fall of the Western Kings, due to release August 21. I read almost anything but prefer scifi, fantasy and mysteries. Currently I'm reading Magic Shifts which I didn't realize is book 8 in the series until after I bought it. Maybe I need to use GR more and impulse buy less.

I felt the same way as my first novel Everlasting Lies came out at the end of March. Was I ready to put myself out there ,what were my family and friends going to say or think?Let me say the last five months have been amazingly positive. Incredible busy as I am self published. Huge learning curve.My advice ...enjoy the journey.

Hi everybody, my name is Bill Webb. I'm pretty new to Goodreads but I love meeting new people.Books are my life, both reading them and writing them. I love to read crime fiction, thrillers, science fiction, fantasy and military history. I grew up with the classics of those genres, in the days before electricity...okay, we had electricity, but no video games, computers, etc. Books were my constant companions and at one point I read more than one per day.
My writing covers a lot of that same territory, my current novel is a thriller with a military thriller, but almost everybody involved was a female, except me.
I'm a native Memphian and child of the south, so I love the outdoors and have a great respect for the natural world. I spent fifteen years as a stay-at-home dad, and am proud to say that in all that time I never fatally poisoned my family.
