Currently I'm working on a sword-and-planet novel set in the same multiverse, that draws from the likes of Henry Kuttner, Leigh Brackett, and John Carter of Mars, along with the Dying Earth genre of Gene Wolfe and Jack Vance.
I've been concentrating on the actual writing, but I need to do more to get some more traction for my first novel and my other work. I'm hoping to make some connections with other talented folks.

I like to read middle grade books :) THIS JOURNAL BELONGS TO RATCHET by Nancy Cavanaugh, and A SNICKER OF MAGIC by Natalie Lloyd and I LIVED ON BUTTERFLY HILL by Marjorie Agosin are recent favorites. Other favorite books: epics like Patrick O'Brian's Jack Aubrey or M.M. Kaye's novels and stylish fiction like P.G. Wodehouse or Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles. I like humor and don't mind complicated. Mostly I like to hear what my friends are reading and can't put down.

Let me know! Cheers, Celeste Leon. I am a good reads author and my website attached to my blog is www.celesteleon.com

Um, I wrote the Swamp Magic Series (meet a new breed of hero) White Tiger Series, I have 27 titles out. A little something for different moods. I also run Bobbi's Book Blurbs, Teasers & Tag Lines.
Raised in VA but am a Floridian now for a long time. (thus where the ideas for the Swamp Magic Series originated.)
One of my latest releases, Hansel & Gretel-Twisted was a riot to write. Truly had fun.
I have a huge family, have married two couples and been on a talk show and still fail to keep the pool blue through the summer. (huge pain in the a$$)

Hello Kathleen,
Your book The Crowded Nest Syndrome looks like a great read!

we've just joined your group as the heading caught our eye and it sounds like great fun! We have tons to read but need help deciding the order of the TBR pile so here we are.
This is our site - A LITERARY TRAVEL AGENCY!
The Booktrail: Start your holiday
We map out locations in books and have a map for every book we put on the site. Hey if you want to submit your favourite please do as you'll take the credit! And we can't read all the books in the world - although we do try ;)
Looking forward to joining in and chatting all book things!

Thank you! Yes, The Crowded Nest Syndrome was a lot of fun to write and has garnered a lot of press time over the years. The audio version just came out last year, as I heard from long distance truckers how important audio editions can be.

My name is Kaushal B. Nanavati, MD and I am an author, motivational speaker, and an Integrative Family Physician. I enjoy reading self-help books, personal finance books, and books addressing wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. I like to translate medical matter to lay language that is easy to grasp. I have written my first book, "CORE 4 of Wellness: Nutrition | Physical Exercise | Stress Management | Spiritual Wellness". It's a quick read under 100 pages.
I look forward to 'making connections' :)

Thank you! Great to be here. Looking forward to chats and all things books! Susan and Clare x

As writer and artist, I have self-published works across multiple genres. My portfolio includes several poetry anthologies about love, life and the creative spirit. I also recently published my first adult fiction novel, The Face of God, detailing the spiritual transformation of a painter who struggles to regain her artistic vision. For children, I have written a series of junior mystery books, featuring Pompom and Gitta Detectives. The latest installment, The Princess' Kimono, is due to be published this month.
Looking forward to participating in the discussions here.

I'm Megan from Tucson, AZ. I am an avid reader. I enjoy reading mystery, horror, memoir, biography, fiction, non-fiction, and some young adult novels.
I am interested in creating an online book blog and am hoping to gather some more ideas for book reviews and other things to post about while browsing through Good Reads.
I am also looking for good books to add to my to-read list based on reviews and any recommendations anyone can provide.
Feel free to tell me about your favorite authors and books you've enjoyed that you would recommend to others.

My favorite authors to name a few are Christopher Moore. Neil Gaiman, Robert Wong, Greg Hurwitz, John Connolly, Adrian Minty, George P. Pelaconos, Dennis Lehane, Terri Pratchet.....

I'm also a book cover designer, and I design author promo materials like bookmarks. I was even a finalist in 3 categories in the 2015 EPIC Ariana Ebook Cover awards.
You can find me online at www.carolineandrus.com
You can search me on FB and Twitter as well to check out my work.
As for reading material, I like YA best. Richelle Mead is my favorite author, but I like a lot of different books targeted to teens (and some targeting adults, though not as frequently.)
