I would love to read any self-help or motivational books of yours or any you recommend.
Thanks!
Keysha

My new book (RE - Formation, A Courageous Journey) is motivational but also addresses what it is to be Christ's as we go through these battles of life. I will be doing a $5.00 discount through my website as soon as it is up and running. The understanding in this book is the result of God's deliverance of me through the pains of my life and into a true freedom in Him. God bless.

Once Upon a Travel: As strange things happen, Nasser soon discovers he is a time traveler. Along with his father, they will see the world, gain knowledge, hide secrets and unravel others.
A story about family, friendship, adventure and culture.
It took me a year to finish it, it's the ending result of hardworking in long sleepless nights. I wish for everyone who reads it to enjoy the life of Nasser and his father and their time traveling adventures .
I am now in the process of announcing my novel, but I'm also working on other writings as well.
Once Upon a travel in Amazon.com if you are interested in it (You can have a free look inside):

Hello Richard!

I'm Dana Tanaro Britt and I'm a voracious reader who also writes contemporary romance/women's fiction stories. I always, and I do mean *always* have a book within reach.
Conversation is perhaps my very favorite thing--next to reading. I adore people and truly enjoy their stories. My greatest talent is porch sitting--I'm a champion porch sitter now for a lot of years ;)
Looking forward to chatting, getting to know some of you and sharing our books along the way!

I was really active a few years ago in getting my books out there but then stepped back for a year or two and lost most of the momentum I built. Cautionary tale for people I guess. I'm excited to meet other authors and share the great things that happen for their books.

My first novel, "Dark Moon Rising" was published last month by Fire Star Press and is doing quite well. This is the second month at 100% five star ratting everywhere it is being sold. I just signed the contract for book two of the pentalogy which should be out soon.
Being new to this I'm finding the learning curve quite steep, so I hope to learn from others.

Where are my manners. Completely forgot to say hello. I am from South Africa and recently released my debut novel. I do not know what else to say...oh! I love Science Fiction.

Anyway, I'm here for discussions and bibliophilic friends!

Thanks, Edwin, kudos and best of luck with Mythos Christos!

My name is sharon and I write books under the name S J Crabb. I like romance novels with suspense and young Adult fantasy and High School books. I also like humorous books and am currently enjoying writing my novels. If I have one regret in life it's that I never learned the guitar and joined a rock band, but I'm not dead yet so you never know.

Sounds tasty, Bala. Good for me. I like eating.

We have a lot in common. I too am not dead yet and I'm just starting to learn how to play a blues harmonica. It fits in my pocket better than a guitar. I also write, but not under the name S J Crabb. That's probably a good thing.

well at least you're learning which is more than I am doing.

I'm still kind of new to this site, and just joined this group.
I recently published the first episode of my serial story, "House of Khepru," on Amazon Kindle.
Something tells me I'm one of only a few who write serial fiction, but I'm glad to be able to connect with fellow authors and storytellers.
I hope to be welcomed with open arms.

If you look closely, you'll see my arms are open. Is serial fiction like the Flash Gordon episodes I use to see at the local movie theater on Saturdays, when I was a kid, and when a box of popcorn cost about 5 cents? Hate to date myself.

To answer your question, Ronald, serial fiction is, in it's most basic form, a story released in regular installments over a period of time, instead of as one single narrative. A good, classic example would be "The Pickwick Papers," by Charles Dickens.
Once again, thank you for the welcome. I look forward to discussing more with fellow storytellers.

My two novels to date are perhaps "cousins" to serial fiction, a series of fiction novels, in this case a thriller series with recurring protagonists. I look forward to engaging.

Not sure if this is still an active group since it doesn't look like anyone has been on in awhile, but worth stopping by to say, "Hey!" since I found it on a post on how to make the most of Goodreads.
This is Daryn Kagan.
I'm a former CNN news anchor, turned web entrepreneur, syndicated newspaper columnist.
That is when I'm not chasing two teenagers, a husband, a 3-legged cat, my 16-year-old rescue dog and 8 chickens.
My new book is, "Hope Possible: A Network News Anchor's Thoughts On Losing Her Job, Finding Love, A New Career, and My Dog, Always My Dog."
It's a collection of 80 of my most popular newspaper columns that chronicles losing my job, getting married for the first time in my 40's becoming a mom in a most unusual way.
My website is http://www.DarynKagan.com, the web's one-stop destination for uplifting and positive news.
If anyone is home in this group, I'm looking forward to making connections and learning about Goodreads and your writing.
My name is Sequoia Nagamatsu. I'm the author of a forthcoming Japanese folklore and Pop-culture inspired story collection, and I'm also working on a novel and second collection. During the day, I'm a professor of creative writing (currently at The College of Idaho near Boise and soon to be at St. Olaf in Minnesota).
Originally from Hawaii (Oahu) and the San Francisco Bay Area but have spent much of my adult life in Japan and the Midwest.
Apart from reading and writing, I love watching horror movies, being distracted by my cat, and collecting curios (i.e. faux taxidermy of mythological creatures).
