I live in southern California and I write paranormal romance. I debuted my first book in September 2015 and currently working on the book 3 while book 2 is being edited.
I am a reading addict, which is how I found this group. I began scrolling around to see if there were any books that would interest me. I like paranormal romance, fantasy and sci-fi.

Agreed!! =]

I live in Ontario, Canada, and have three more books with www.smashwords.com (White Trash Witch, Amazon Intrigue, and Gravity SUCKS! All three are Paranormal Romance

My name is David. I'm a new author, and published my first book Letters for Lucia: 8 Principles for Navigating Adversity this month. It was inspired by the unexpected international parental abduction of my 11-month old daughter. Somehow I was able to find compassion and forgiveness in the circumstances, which led me to a place of peace. I'm hoping to help people through my story. If you're interested in providing a review, please let me know. Also, feel free to peruse my website and join my inspirational updates and blog list. Peace and love! ~DBJ

I am a Canadian Author and fairly new here. I have recently posted some blurbs for feedback as I am close to self-publishing my first book, Dracones Awakening. It is a steamy, dark, paranormal romance. I am trying to figure out the Goodreads site...and my next steps before publishing. I have gotten my book back from the editors. My cover is done, I am working on ARCs for reviews and thinking/hoping to list my book for mid march...but now I am looking into the promotional stuff and can I list my book on Goodreads as coming soon? if I do, and where? Can people start to leave reviews? any help and advice would be greatly appreciated! This is all mind boggling! :)

Thank you Tana!

Hi Sheri-Lynn yes you can list your book on goodreads before its out. Once you have your arc copies you can list it and in our group looking for reviews. Plus look around on goodreads see where else you can promote your book. Good luck.

Of course Sheri-Lynn if you need anything or just want to ask a question feel free to contact me on goodreads.

I enjoyed that book - it gave me the "nerve" to start using Goodreads (I'd been signed up for a while, but kept chickening out on trying to figure it out)

At the moment I am looking for writers who would like to do a guest post from time to time on my blog. The name of the blog is Sorchia's Universe. I write paranormal fiction--usually about Scotland, single-malt Scotch, witches, and legends.
If you have that kind of content, give the place a look and message me here if you would like to guest blog. While I don't mind at all if you refer to your own writing and link to your own site or provide buy links, plan to post about something other than your book. Ghost stories, paranormal investigations, a nice legend or monster--stuff like that.
And if you like to read spooky legends, healing crystals, witchy practices, great flash fiction, and links to my books, I would be honored to have you as a follower.
Thanks to the Makers, whoever you are, for setting up this group and thanks for letting me in :)

I'm Skylar, I love writing everything from essays and short stories to novels, and I'm especially fond of genre fiction. I just put out my first ebook on Kindle, which has been very exciting, and I run a website about writing and stories called Bigbravesky.com.
When I'm not writing I love reading authors like Neil Gaiman (my hero), Chuck Palahniuk, Michael Chabon and Ursula LeGuin. Also a big fan of graphic novels and movies, I'm a sucker for a good Hero's Journey.
Nice to meet you all!

Hooray! Welcome to the group. I applaud you for taking your time to get your book to press. I will check out your site. - SJR

Cheers,
Celeste

I'm H.B Jackson, a writer and enthusiastic reader. I love supernatural fantasy. My first Novel in a book series is now out. The Nephilim Chronicles: The Rise of the Fallen.

Any format the author can provide is usually fine. Ebooks are just easier and less expensive since you don't have to pay for shipping.

In terms of reading I'm more a non-fiction person, though trying to read more in my genres - happy to help review non-fiction or audio books (I walk a lot so have time to review audio books!)
Hello, I'm new to this group, very new to all of this posting and social media. I have a goodreads author page for my new romance "Signed Love" I live in Alberta, Canada. I have been writing for years but while raising a family I never worked to publish anything. This is the first of my manuscripts brought back to life.

I'm Lloyd Baron, from Portsmouth England.
I write Fantasy for the most, although I am interested in horror. I have four published books, all part of the same series, Prophecy of Ages. They are, Wings of Light, Decimation of Hope, Blood of Innocents and Lords of Chaos. My fifth is due out later this year, Shades of Malevolence and continues the saga.
I am a massive fan of Japanese culture, food and Anime. I speak (very bad) Japanese and am learning how to make some wonderful meals.

I'm working on the fifth and final Aona book "Salvation's Door" which should be out this spring, and aim to also finish the sequel to Summer's Dark Waters by the summer.
Although I describe the Aona books as dark fantasy, they really bridge a number of genres and they contain elements of sci-fi and horror.
I'm also writing an as-yet-untitled book for young (7-10 yrs) children which is possibly the toughest project yet.

Hey, I really like your quotes and goals! I'm looking for blog friends too! I blog over at shewouldread.com. Would you be interested in doing a guest book review there?
