is just coming to the end of The Concubine , a really good Anne Boleyn novelised history . I have read it several times but enjoyed it just as much this time.

KOMET Traitor King: The Scandalous Exile of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor by Andrew Lownie.

Traitor King The Scandalous Exile of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor by Andrew Lownie

One of the best books of its kind that I've ever read.

Maurene I finished "Entitled" by Andrew Lownie a few weeks ago and sadly to say I was not blown away by it. I have read a number of books by him and they have been brilliant. Apart from Traitor King which like you I thoroughly enjoyed. The Mountbattens takes some beating.
I found this last book of his quite "dry" which is the best I can describe it... and it was an effort for me to finish.
Maybe the fault was mine, maybe I was expecting something different....
Needless to say I will be in line for his next book which is about Prince Philip I gather.

Last summer, I read the UK hardcover edition of "Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York" and it gave me PLENTY of food for thought.

Entitled The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie

I can understand why you found some of the passages therein hard going. There was so much information to take in and absorb. But I very much appreciate Lownie's work in gathering this material. He faced a lot of obstacles in doing his research and getting the book published.

The UK paperback edition of "Entitled" is coming out in May and contains new information in light of the recent disclosures in the ongoing Epstein Case. (I heard that recently in podcasts in which Mr. Lownie was interviewed about this matter.) Recently, I put in an order for the UK paperback edition from a UK website and look forward to reading it once I'm in receipt of the book.
