T.K. Young is the author of the apocalyptic science fiction novel Chawlgirl Rising, and the short story collections A Perfect Society and When We’re Afraid.

His work has appeared in numerous publications, including the Journal of Microliterature, Rosebud Magazine, and Hopewell Publications’ Best New Writing anthology.

Some of his favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Vladimir Nabokov, Tim O’Brien, Don DeLillo, Cormac McCarthy, and Roddy Doyle.

He once played a mean lead guitar in one of MTV’s Top 10 DC-area bands and currently resides in Arlington, VA.
