Oh, so you have plunged into the deep, dark hole that is yaoi, huh? How are you liking it so far? XD To be honest, I have never exactly liked this mangaka's works because the tropes used aren't my thing, but I can see how they are nice reads :)
Hahaha you can say that. ;D Well they are mature parts (just saying incase you read it) but I love the main couple (the one on the cover) they are super adorable together. There are also some side stories of the other workers there but I love the main couple the best. ^^
Even though it's when the yaoi-ness kicks in while my sister walks in so I switch to a different page really fast, I'm glad the mature content isn't the focus and more of the development. To be honest…I was a little embarrassed adding this to my currently-reading I DON'T USUALLY READ THESE! XD

Oh, I've already read some of this one, haha. I actually enjoyed reading it overall, but the art isn't really for me and the "semes" kept reminding me of Usami from Junjou Romantic, who I sort of hate. So, after reading about ten chapters, I dropped it.
As for the mature content that yaoi usually has, I have never even been phased by it. In fact, sometimes I await them anxiously JUST so I can see blush-y faces. Because I just adore blushes on manga characters. Kind of weird, but yeah. Do I sound like a perve? I hope not ^_^"
But with that said, I have to agree that I like it better when a yaoi manga puts plot and character before sex. Actually, scratch that, I only read yaoi manga that puts plot and character before sex :P Blush-y faces can only do so much.
Also, you are totally not alone in having an emergency page XD And here are some recommendations if you want to read more. I will put a * to warn you of sex scenes, because I do not want you to be randomly freaked out :P
コンビニくん Konbini-kun :This one is just pure cuteness and will make you smile. There is one sex scene, but only in the last chapter, which doesn't even need to read.
* Only the Flower Knows, Volume 1 : Another very sweet manga. Unfortunately, the fantranslation has more than a few spelling errors in it, but the story is very nice and JUST LOOK AT THIS:
ADORABLE!
* Only Serious About You, Volume 1 : The covers might leave much to be desired, but it's a truly good read. The characters are good, the story flows nicely, the art is great (cute blush-y faces, muahahaha!) and the relationship is done very well.
Yozora no Sumikko de : Uh, I'm actually not done with this one (hehe), but it's very nice so far. And since this has been tagged as "shounen-ai" there are probably no sex scenes :)
同級生 Doukyuusei : I just finished this and am now reading its sequel... And I have to say that this is one absolutely lovely shounen-ai. The art looks a bit deformed, but the simple story is captivating.
My long comment is done. Whew. I blame my currently enthusiasm for shounen-ai/yaoi manga on the 2014 LGBT challenge.
Haha yes I feel like a pervert like I still think porn is disgusting but when they actually have those scenes I don't feel grossed out at all and it makes me feel like I am crazy--like am I crazy? >~<
Aww you didn't like this one as much? Pooty, it's okay. XD The first time I read I didn't even make it past the first chapter but now i really like it…maybe even a favorite but I feel embarrassed to mark it as that. >//~//<
OMG! I am so happy you gave me a list!!! MWAA~ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! After I finished this one (it's still updating) I wanted to read more YAOI but I just felt very…strange that I wanted to read more of this genre XD so whatever now! XD
Umm…but I don't know which one to tackle first…Imma just read the synopsis' and look at the art and yaaaa…UNLESS you have one on this list you really want me to read though. XD
I think I will start with Only the Flower Knows! XD Umm…after I finish Uglies first cause I want to finish a book at least one cause I've already started this year with 2 mangas already. XD
Delaney wrote: "Haha yes I feel like a pervert like I still think porn is disgusting but when they actually have those scenes I don't feel grossed out at all and it makes me feel like I am crazy--like am I crazy? ..."
Eh, upon further inspection, I don't think we are perverts. No, we are people who enjoy the art of love! Yeah. That's what I am going to go with :P I probably will pick this one up again, since you say that it's better the second time around. Besides, it's mostly because I kept getting reminded of Usami, but he's nearly completely out of my head now, haha.
No problem! I just sort of had to unleash the yaoi fangirl inside me. Haha, I thought it was a little strange for me to be so addicted to the genre so quickly, too.
Only the Flower Knows is a good place to start :) The couple is really lovely, and I sort of adore how it doesn't follow the usual formula with the 'seme' and 'uke' thing. I mean, Youichi is louder than Misaki and more forward with his feelings (seriously, this guy isn't afraid to belt out a proclamation of love at all <_<), but that's all.
I would also say that Konbini-kun would be a good read if you just want to read something in less than thirty minutes. It's only five chapters (which are pretty short), four if you skip the "Lets cram in a sex scene because why the heck not?" last chapter.
Ooh, and you're reading Uglies? How's it going so far? I enjoyed the series, even if I haven't got interested enough to buy and read the last book ^_^"
Well getting reminded of a different character that you hate always makes you have conflicts with the story even though it has nothing to do with the story. So yesh!--TRY IT AGAIN!
I will start on Only the Flower Knows from there I don't know. *shrugs* Maaaaybe I'll read Youichi. Saying that they just wanted to add an extra chapter just for some smut….well, I don't know if I'll like…or not. XD
Okay so I got bored of it then it got GOOD! And then I got sick (still a little bit)<--that's why I didn't reply back to your comment ;O; SORRY!--and so yeah I don't. I probably won't continue the series cause it's not as interesting as I thought and I have a love/hate relationship with the main character--she just frustrates me so much! >:(
Delaney wrote: "Well getting reminded of a different character that you hate always makes you have conflicts with the story even though it has nothing to do with the story. So yesh!--TRY IT AGAIN!
I will start on..."
Funny, I was talking to someone else on a forum and they recommended me Sekaiichi also :P Looks like the universe really wants me to read it.
Yay! Only the Flower Knows has one of the sweetest relationships I have read in a yaoi manga-- it's based on respect, patience, and love. And I swear, the manga contains one of the best kisses I have ever read... Wonderfully drawn and takes place in a pretty field of flowers. Totally adorable and awww-inducing kiss here, if you want to take a little peek ;)
Well, I think that Konbini-kun is well-worth the read. I have to admit that the smutty last chapter really threw me, because the manga was so clean before, but I definitely recommend it.
Haha, no worries! I hope you are feeling better :) Yeah, Tally (I think that's her name) is a character that is very hard to like. She does grow a lot throughout the course of the series, though, I never really found Tally to be an amazing character that I could relate with, which is one of the reasons why I dropped the series.
I really want to watch the anime adaption already but I have to finish Uglies then I'm going to order some books online then watch some freaking amazing anime then read again and watch freaking amazing mind-blowing animes then read then repeat it all ova again.
NOO I was so tempted to click the linkie but I resister oo I shall not take a peek! I will not! PRETTY FIELDS OF FLOWERSSS….NO! I will not! Stop whatever you are doing, Lesley! I know you are doing something with my head!
Thank you! *wants to hug you but scared you'll catch my sickness* If Shay was the main character on the other hand…I'll like her much better…though her character gets pretty funky through the book. :/ And there's the sudden romance? WTF!
Delaney wrote: "I really want to watch the anime adaption already but I have to finish Uglies then I'm going to order some books online then watch some freaking amazing anime then read again and watch freaking ama..."
It's been a while since I have watched an anime O_o There are some interesting ones coming out this year, though. The one I have heard about most is Pupa, which was very, very hyped up by anime fans... And then it turned out that each episode was only five minutes. Reminds me a bit of Kotoro-san, an anime whose first ten minutes were dark and full emotion, promising a series full of impact, but then went on to become a romantic comedy.
Anime producers like trolling us, apparently.
Muhahaha, but I find messing with your head to be entertaining. But I shall stop. Because obviously the kiss will be even more awww-inducing when you know who the two boys are and their characters.
Shay was quite the intriguing character. I think they made a graphic novel from her point of view, which admittedly, sounds waaaay more appealing than reading another book from Tally's point of view. The romance really in the series really bugged me-- added unneeded drama.
I was more into manga but I didn't hate anime, but now I enjoy both equally. I'm actually in need of catching up to my anime (as a very GOOD excuse!) because I'm going to Anime Expo if you don't know about it, it's like a convention to buy merchandise of anime, buy some manga, some art from artists, and some other stuff--according to my friends. XD It's my first year going and I am so excited I just want school to end already!
Oh speaking of 5 minutes episode there is the anime Hetalia and each episode is 5 minutes and totally random stuff but super super hilarious!
But then Shay got changed into a Pretty and now she sounds like a dumb Barbie doll. ;O; I want the old Shay back. Though the ending of the first is quite a cliffhanger ehhh naaah not going to read the next in the series, just not worth it.
Lucky! I've always wanted to go to a convention. My best friend's brother is an anime nerd, so they invited me to come with them once, but apparently my parents had planned a vacation :( So yeah, I couldn't go. Make sure to bring lots of money-- there are tons of things that you will want to buy, according to my friend's brother. (Seriously, he spent like 300 bucks.)
Ooh, Hetalia! I've heard that it's like the comedy version of history class. And a shipping playground. Which means that I need to watch it sometime :)
I hope that the next series that you read will be better, Delaney!
YOU SHOULD COME VISIT CALIFORNIA WHEN YOU ARE OLDER AND ME AND YOU AND MY FRIENDS AND WE GO TO AX TOGETHER YAAA? LIKE THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. I WANT TO MEET YOU IN REAL LIFE.
Oh yeah, that's why my friend said too! I'm saving up and I still think I don't have enough, even though I haven't checked how much I currently have. XD
Yes you do need to watch it! So funny I can't do much shipping for the series except for Italy and Germany and that's about it. XD
OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! YAAAAY!!!! I'M SO GLAD YOU LOVE IT!
Ahhh, that would be so much fun. But I'm really awkward around people in real life, sooo >_< Do you live in California? That's where I grew up as a little kid! Small world, huh?
I spend so much money on manga that it's not even funny. God only knows how much I would spend at a convention... I find the fact that people are shipping personified land masses together to be so funny. Like, just imagine countries being attracted to each other O_o Actually, that would be pretty awesome.
Haha, SH is just so funny and adorable. Full of cliches? Yes. But hey, it's super fun! I've already gotten through ten chapters. (I wonder which couple I am going to ship the hardest?) Really, the mangaka improved a lot since Junjou Romantica (home to creepy Usami). I'm also finding her art to be a lot more good-looking, too.
I'm awkward and really…really hard to like in real life. You see this imaginary person of what you think of me right now and when you see me I am not the cool. XD Yes I do live in California. What?! Why did you move? TT__TT
I want to buy so much manga! But I would think that I would buy a book, you know? Though I really want to support manga and manga translators and the mangakas. I love how they make the countries all so stereotypical like America eats a lot of hamburgers. XD
I love the main couple. Umm what's his name, I suck at Japanese name remembering. I think…nope I can't remember. But the main one is the one I love, I don't hate reading the side ones but I want more focus for the main couple ;O;
Good-lookign art is a hell-yeah! <3 I don't think I've read Romantica…guessing I won't though, because I don't feel like it. XD
We are the same, then! My dad wanted to be closer to his parents, so we basically just ditched California for the amazing and exciting place that is Oklahoma... Which is not at all exciting. The most exciting place in my town is the aquarium. That's just sad.
Yeah, books do offer more time than a manga volume does. It's sort of ridiculous how a six-volume manga series could cost me sixty dollars >_< Hetalia is known for how it stereotypes the countries. It's hilarious because it's sort of offensive but funny at the same time :P
I believe that the main couple consists of Onodera and Takano. I agree, I am really attached to the main couple, so whenever the manga switches to another, I get anxious. But I'm starting to warm up to Yukino and Whatshisname.
I soooo do not recommend Junjou Romantica. Even if you ignore Usami, it's still very uninteresting and irritating.
Aww man! It would have been crazy if you went to my elementary school and I didn't even know, but probably not. XD
But I can see why mangas cost so much the same as books because drawing all that and the editors to do that is just as time-consuming as an author.
YES! That's the names Onodera and Takano! I'm just being a meanie and saying no to every couple beside them. XD Just because I want more of them and less of everyone else because I'm just selfish like that. XD
Haha, probably not. We moved when I was about six. There might have been a teeny-tiny chance that we went to the same pre-school. Or even passed by each other in the streets :P
I'm selfish, though, and want to be able to buy lots of manga. It's crazy that one can spend over 100$ just by keeping up with ONE series. For example, the Tsubasa series is over 20 volumes, each one about eight bucks each >_<
Sometimes I am tempted to just read scanlations, but if I have the money I believe that I should support the industry... As long as I like the series of course. After buying one series and then absolutely hating it, I have made it a habit to try out the scanlations first.
I really like all the couples... Well, except for anything with Hatori. I've heard that he basically all-out rapes Chiaki >_< I know that this particular mangaka likes the "forceful seme" (which I sort of hate, but this series is sort of irresistible), but WHHHYYYY?
I really want to buy my favorite mangas so badly! ;O; Maybe at the Expo they might be cheaper so I am holding back buying right now…prepare to see this massive overhaul of manga from the expo. XD Actually, just prepare yourself because I will probably post more anime reviews..O___O
Hey have you watched Summer Wars? I watched way back a few months ago way past way past whenever it was and yeah I just want someone to watch it so bad. XD
It is irresistible and most of the time the main character says no when he means yes. ;D Why what?…?
YES! Go buy those manga that you ache so much for! And more anime reviews... Gosh, Delaney, you're going to kill me from all the happiness. Oh, I have heard a lot about Summer Wars, actually. The animation looks gorgeous, and I will probably watch it this weekend... I'll let you know what I think on Sunday :)
Yeah, this is one of the reasons why I can't really bring myself to hate the characters when they sort of force themselves on each other. The "ukes" are just SO tsundere and in denial that I can't really take the dubious consent seriously...
It's worrisome and does bother me, but... I just can't take it very seriously XD Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is just one of those guilty pleasure manga I adore... I feel a little guilty, but yeah. I like it. (I am not saying that I approve of these situations in real life, though. If someone says no, they mean no.) Besides, I need a kind of ridiculous BL manga to heal the kicks in the feels that Yoneda Kou has been giving me >_< That lady sure knows how to make a person emotional.
Now, what I meant by Hatori thing is that if the fans are angry, then it has got to be bad... Which is sort of scary O_O
YAAAAY! YOU ARE GOING TO WATCH IT! <333 PREPARE FOR THE AMAZING GRAPHICS AND STORYLINE AND EVERYTHING JUST IN YOUR FACE. XD
Aww yes SH is the perfect manga to make your day. I was literally mooning for more! Stinking scanalations need to come faster! Though I shall wait…not that patiently. What manga does Yoneda Kou write? Maybe I should give her manga a go.
Oh yes when fans get fired up, they can bite. Wait who is Hatori again?
I can't wait to talk with you about it :D It looks really good, and you know, ALL THE PRETTY MOVEMENT AND COLORS *_*
I can't recommend her works enough. Yoneda's character just always feel completely real, and their emotions are beautifully depicted in her stories. And her art is great, though it isn't in the typical shoujo-ish style lots of yaoi have.
First, I think you should read Yashiro's story, which starts with the 44-page one-shot 漂えど沈まず、されど泣きもせず Tadayoedo Shizumazu Saredo Naki Mo Sezu and is being continued in the manga 囀る鳥は羽ばたかな1 Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai 1 . They are both amazing, and Saezeru is, like, my favorite yaoi manga ^_^
You should also read No Touching At All , though it is very melancholic and while it isn't boring at all, it takes things pretty slowly. But again, THE EMOTION! Really, I truly think that Yoneda make these manga not just to appeal to yaoi fans and make a buck, but to write an actual story with complex characters. /end of fangirl recommendation rant.
Ahh, I'm sorry if I sort of just dumped all that one you. O_O I think that Hatori is one of the points in the whole Chiaki love triangle thing. At least, that's what all the fan forums tell me.
YES. THE COLORS! AND ANIMATION IS GORGEOUS FOR SUMMER WARS! <333
I think I'll give one of those manga you suggested a go once I finish all my books and watch SH anime. O__O Yeah…so one at a time first. XD Before everything gets jumbled and i don't know what to read/watch first. XD
Wait but I don't know which I should read first. The one-shot I can tackle already but maybe I should start with the other one? It says it's a prequel, either the one-shot or the other one, I forgot so should i read the prequel one first?
I think I'm going to read the one-shot! Though first I need to comment back. XD And then I'll see if I have time, if not I'll start it on the weekend or something. ^^
Yay! I would suggest that you read the one-shot first. It gives a lot of insight to Yashiro's character, letting you understand him even better when you read the main series. Really, this guy is such of a complex and heartbreaking character... You will want to know as much as you can about him.
Hmm. I wonder if the SH anime will have the anatomy errors that the manga has sometimes XD
Oh yeah I just commented back and then I got sidetracked like the person i am and wandered around random people's blogs and then I finally finished just now and it's almost 10 so I'm going to have to read the manga later because I'm starting Amy and Roger's Epic Detour soon so yeah. Darn it.
Oh what anatomy errors are we talking about here. ;D
It's okay! Amy and Roger's Epic Detour? I LOVE THAT BOOK! OH MY GOSH, PLEASE LOVE IT :D
You know, the big 'yaoi hands' and the sometimes sort-of-small heads. You should see JR. Those sort of errors (and more) were EVERYWHERE!
I kknow i read your review and one other and I just wanted to read it so bad. I love cutesy books because it's nice to take a break reading those during school time (that is already stressing).
Oh yaoi hands<--no I don't know what they look like, actually. XD Maybe it's the authors style?
'Yaoi hands' is a terrible mutation that has been inflicting many male characters in yaoi manga, especially semes. Here are some examples. If you see anyone that looks like they have this mutation, please call emergency services immediately.

This is not all. Some people in yaoi manga unfortunately are suffering from Small Head Syndrome. I believe that this must explain the insane amount of not being able to tell what "no" from "yes" is.
Example:

Fact: Yoneda Kou manga does not suffer from any of these mutations, thank God.
Hahahaha those look hilarious but nasty…which I don't understand why the authors put it like that. The yaoi hands man that just terrible attention to detail! And the small head hahahaha it looks so funky! XD
Delaney wrote: "Hahahaha those look hilarious but nasty…which I don't understand why the authors put it like that. The yaoi hands man that just terrible attention to detail! And the small head hahahaha it looks so..."
I tend to stay away from manga that feature characters with yaoi hands, but sometimes I just want to laugh-- and yaoi manga with yaoi hands and/or small head syndrome is basically the most hilarious thing to me. Yeah, it is beyond me how some mangaka even manage to get their works published with that kind of art. Maybe REALLY big hands is considered handsome in Japan? Is it a sign of manliness? Maybe that's why yuri manga often suffer from yuri hands... >_<
By the way, congratulations on winning the giveaway!
Well I don't know, maybe big hands to grab…bigger things. XP I don't know. Then what is tiny head syndrome all about? XD Wait yuri suffers yuri hands? Extremely tiny hands--I'm guessing?
MIND=STILL BLOWN I ran around the house screaming quietly so my parents wouldn't ask. XD
I'm guessing that the tiny head syndrome is supposed to bring attention to the manly, epic largeness of the character. Or it actually might be an excuse for a character's forcing himself onto the love of his life :P Well, I think that yuri suffers less from art screw-ups and cliches in general, though the genres still both have that annoying thing where it's like "I'm only gay for you" and "it's just a phase", but yeah many yuri suffer from yuri hands. I like yuri hands better than yaoi hands XD
I remember when I won my first giveaway. IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME!
Haha maybe so. I don't read much yuri so I don't know about that, though smaller seems much better than bigger. XD
I always freak out when I win a giveaway. I just whaaaaat and think I am in a dream. XD

Ehhh, I tend to read more girls' love stories than boys' love stories :P I think they are sweeter. Usually the small hands look cute, though they do cause you to sometimes wonder how the heck the girls lift things out without their fingers hurting >_<
Oh, and I watched Summer Wars! Sooo good! And the animation was just mesmerizing!
Haha yaoi for the win! XD Just because i love to ship guys together and not feel bad about it. Well, I just ship anybody together. If you've watched/seen Free! I shipped Haru (the main character) with water because his love for water is all he needs in the world. <3
YAY!!! I knew you would like it! It's such an intense animation movie, I didn't know it would be until I watched it.XD
Hehe, yaoi and yuri are the only genres where my homosexual ships actually exist :P No.6 and Shinsekai Yori being the exceptions, of course. I've seen Free! I really like the Rei and Nagisa ship... It just sounds so cute and the fanart and fanfiction with them are just SO ADORABLE! I also quite like Makoto and Haru together. Rin can just stay single and spend time with his sister.
Speaking of anime movies, have you ever watched Wolf Children?
Haha yes Nagisa and Rei is a definite now with Haru and Makoto or RIn…I can't choose!
NOOO I WANT TO WATCH IT SO BAD! BUT I NEED TO CATCH UP ON ANIME AND I WILL SOON IDK WHEN BUT SOON BECAUSE I HEARD IT'S FREAKING AMAZING AND GIFS OF IT POPS UP ON TUMBLR AND THEY ARE ALL SO ADORABLE AND SAD AT THE SAME TIME.
ReiGisa-- The ship that captivates the hearts of many. All of the characters in Free! look good together, but Rei and Nagisa are just a given. I prefer Makoto and Haru together than Haru and Rin, though that just might be because I adore Makoto and think that Gou needs some quality time with her bro ^_^
I KNOW RIGHT! I'm waiting for my mom to be available so she can watch it with me. She's sort of obsessed with the news right now *exasperated*
Haru X Water all the way. XD
I thought you've watched it! Then have you watched The Garden of Words?
Water is obviously number 1 in Haru's life.
Ahh, there are so many anime movies I want to watch but haven't, Garden of Words being one of them >_<
And 5 Centimeters per Second! I read the manga, but I really want to watch the animation. ^^
And I think I'm going to marathon Studio Ghibli films in the summer, going to rewatch ones I have seen but in English sub and watch ones I haven't. ^^
Delaney wrote: "And 5 Centimeters per Second! I read the manga, but I really want to watch the animation. ^^

I watched that one! It is a GORGEOUS movie. The animation is just stunning. Seriously, it's why the movie gets the nickname "5 Wallpapers Per Second".
Bre wrote: "That movie was amazing!! Love the manga too"
It is such of a beautiful story... Even without the masterful animation, I would still love it. I've also read the manga, but it didn't pack quite the same punch the animated movie did...
Oh, and I spy Yuki Nagato. Do you happen to be a fan of Haruhi?

WTF!

Ooh, Hetalia! I've heard that it's like the comedy version of history class. And a shipping playground. Which means that I need to watch it sometime :)
I hope that the next series that you read will be better, Delaney!

I want to buy so much manga! But I would think that I would buy a book, you know? Though I really want to support manga and manga translators and the mangakas. I love how they make the countries all so stereotypical like America eats a lot of hamburgers. XD
I love the main couple. Umm what's his name, I suck at Japanese name remembering. I think…nope I can't remember. But the main one is the one I love, I don't hate reading the side ones but I want more focus for the main couple ;O;
Good-lookign art is a hell-yeah! <3 I don't think I've read Romantica…guessing I won't though, because I don't feel like it. XD

XD

Hey have you watched Summer Wars? I watched way back a few months ago way past way past whenever it was and yeah I just want someone to watch it so bad. XD
It is irresistible and most of the time the main character says no when he means yes. ;D Why what?…?

Hmm. I wonder if the SH anime will have the anatomy errors that the manga has sometimes XD

Oh what anatomy errors are we talking about here. ;D

You know, the big 'yaoi hands' and the sometimes sort-of-small heads. You should see JR. Those sort of errors (and more) were EVERYWHERE!

Oh yaoi hands<--no I don't know what they look like, actually. XD Maybe it's the authors style?

This is not all. Some people in yaoi manga unfortunately are suffering from Small Head Syndrome. I believe that this must explain the insane amount of not being able to tell what "no" from "yes" is.
Example:

Fact: Yoneda Kou manga does not suffer from any of these mutations, thank God.

MIND=STILL BLOWN I ran around the house screaming quietly so my parents wouldn't ask. XD

I remember when I won my first giveaway. IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME!

YAY!!! I knew you would like it! It's such an intense animation movie, I didn't know it would be until I watched it.XD

Speaking of anime movies, have you ever watched Wolf Children?

NOOO I WANT TO WATCH IT SO BAD! BUT I NEED TO CATCH UP ON ANIME AND I WILL SOON IDK WHEN BUT SOON BECAUSE I HEARD IT'S FREAKING AMAZING AND GIFS OF IT POPS UP ON TUMBLR AND THEY ARE ALL SO ADORABLE AND SAD AT THE SAME TIME.

I KNOW RIGHT! I'm waiting for my mom to be available so she can watch it with me. She's sort of obsessed with the news right now *exasperated*

I thought you've watched it! Then have you watched The Garden of Words?

Ahh, there are so many anime movies I want to watch but haven't, Garden of Words being one of them >_<

And I think I'm going to marathon Studio Ghibli films in the summer, going to rewatch ones I have seen but in English sub and watch ones I haven't. ^^
THEY HAVE A WHOLE DVD SET?!?! O_O

And I think I'm going to marathon Studio Ghibli films in the summer, going to rewatch ones I have seen ..."
I watched that one! It is a GORGEOUS movie. The animation is just stunning. Seriously, it's why the movie gets the nickname "5 Wallpapers Per Second".
That movie was amazing!! Love the manga too

It is such of a beautiful story... Even without the masterful animation, I would still love it. I've also read the manga, but it didn't pack quite the same punch the animated movie did...
Oh, and I spy Yuki Nagato. Do you happen to be a fan of Haruhi?
