What an excellent review in terms of attracting one to read the book. Some might say it gives away too much but for me the central point was the reviewer's indication of what he looks for in a book and the sense that the search was rewarded by this one. If one shares that hope then this could not fail to persuade. I suppose it also connects with the 2012 hysteria ( not necessarily a plus except for the author!)On the strength of this review will definitely be shelved for a time to read.It is also impressive that not only does Paul remember when he read it, but retains such a vivid memory of it.
