Kylie Griffin’s addiction to all things paranormal started at an early age when she imagined the jacaranda tree in her front yard was a spaceship or castle tower used to defend the world from hordes of invading enemies. Writing stories seemed like a natural extension.

By day she’s a primary school teacher but at night she writes paranormal romances for the Berkley Sensation line. She credits two wonderful English high school teachers, three writing organizations (RWAustralia, RWNew Zealand and RWAmerica), one supportive writing group (the BILD ladies) and the unlimited consumption of chocolate for her growth and success as a writer.

It's been a rocky few years since LB#3 came out - Berkley chose not to contract any more books in the series. Shortly after that sad news, I badly injured my knee while volunteer firefighting and that required surgery and physio for almost a year. Add in a couple of other medical issues and this has all impacted quite heavily on my grand plans to self-publish the next few books in the Light Blade series.
While I don't yet have a release schedule for them, I continue to write them. They're coming!

I absolutely loved your Light Blade series and you definitely deserved that RWNZ Koru award! I was wondering, can you confirm that the third book in the series isn't the last? Because it seems like more events are going to happen. And if so, have we already met the characters that's going to be in the next book (if there is one...please let there be more please please)?

ALLEGIANCE SWORN is NOT the end of the series. Yes, there were plot threads seeded through it and it hinted at more action to come - for sure! While my publisher has not contracted any more books in the series I'm thinking of self-pubbing more (I have another 3 plotted and am writing #4 at the moment).
Yes, you have met one of the characters already who will appear in #4, you've met the two main characters who are planned for Bk#5, and one character in #6.
