But there …moreI'm not entirely sure there is a best thing. Some days I can hardly believe that I'm actually at a point where I can say that I'm a writer. But there is something to be said for picking up a finished product, flipping through it, reading a bit, and thinking to myself, "Oh my God, my editor is the most brilliant woman on the planet!" So maybe the best thing about being a writer has been getting to work with some of the best, the most creative, and the smartest people I've met anywhere.(less)
