When I sit down with God's word, I pray that God will open my eyes so that I may understand the Scriptures; I pray that he will reveal to me exactly what I need to learn. And I find that God is always faithful to answer those kinds of prayers. His words come to life on the pages of the Bible, and they speak truth and love to me right where I am at.(less)
