Such a good point!
I agree! I believe that the letter was full of crap and more for insurance. But my thing is the one thing that makes me think she MIGHT be telling the truth is that she is obsessed with Jeremy and really dislikes her children so why would she take her kid and leave jeremy? I still think her letter is BS tho
Verity should have benefited from Lowen’s presence, had Verity been innocent. Tell her the truth, ask for help. Instead she just creeped her out, I think the letter isn’t telling the truth. But then, if she hated the kids, why plan to run away with Crew? The ending is a bit of a mystery, which I’m sure is what the author intended.
Ashley Justice, I believe what Khushboo is saying is that Verity said the reason she wrote the manuscript was that her agent advised it as a means of getting used to writing in the point of view of the villain. However, if this was true, wouldn't the agent also have suggested this to Lowen when Lowen began the rest of the series?
for thoose who think that amanda should have told lowen to write some manuscript as a writing exercise to help her writing from the antagonist's point of view, like she told verity, i think that lowen alredy had the previous 6 books and all of veritys work and she had the time to study all of it, and would have been familiarized with all the characters and how darak the series she was supposed to finish was, therefore amanda didnt have to tell her that
For everyone asking why she would run away with Crew, she said that she would be happy with the three of them as a family. I don't think Crew caused her as much stress or jealousy.
