As for the notes/highlights: When you read a book on Kindle, you can highlight and make notes. Goodreads.com then lets your share your highlights and notes. When you view a book on Goodreads, you can see people's reviews as well as any highlights or notes that were shared. I shared mine here. https://www.goodreads.com/notes/47220...

I just finish book 6. It was fantastic! But (and this is a big but) the cliffhanger you left us with is killing me! The teaser doesn’t help. I waiting here with bated breath, not to put any pressure on you or anything .,,

I think as an author, you can access the public highlights of your readers at https://read.amazon.com? I'm guessing since I haven't published a book. (I should get to that.)
