so much twist in this story in this book Werewolf Tale 2 held my attention for many hours I was imagining several situations that Alex was going through at the time of transformation when it was time to return to the normal human being again and in the end there was that ending that there was no explanation, neither the father of Shane or Shane himself coming home in the middle of the storm over my head. I was asking myself a lot to know what happened to them and so far I haven't had an answer. Was there an open ending? Was there silence ????
I bought the two books I loved the first one and I loved the second one I’m desperate to know what happened in that ending that didn’t have any direction on the characters for days I’m trying to understand finding an answer but I can’t find anywhere
@Marcio Santos: Hey Marcio. To answer your question, yes, the ending was left open, but this was mostly because the way I was thinking about WT II, nothing serious or bad happened after Alex made the kill. So further detailing didn't feel important and in turn the story went right to the epilogues.
But if there was another chapter: Alex and Shane and Michael would haul the calf back to the house after eating their fill of it. Michael then carves up the animal, since he would have experience doing so, and Alex would be free to take some of it since he killed it. Shane and Michael would then store the edible parts for later, as they used to do, and once Alex left, dump the remains. No one's going to look too closely at carrion birds eating things anyway.
Alex meanwhile, acting on what Michael told him, would avoid telling his father what happened, though he would be curious about Yamato's condition and concerned if it means another night hunt the following month. The last thing he would probably be thinking is how satisfying it was to use a gun rather than his teeth and claws, though he would acknowledge that he was only able to do so because the weather was on his side, and possibly state to himself that Shane may get his wish.
Then the story would end and the epilogues would take place; since a duology was the extent to which Werewolf Tale was written, leaving a cliffhanger or something similar wasn't my intention. I've seen that before, and never liked it when authors/writers pull that stunt, but it seems I need to consider my endings a bit more in future works.
In any case, I trust this satisfied your curiosity about what happened.
Thank you very much for the explanation, I just feel sorry because I can’t know more about the character Alex’s life than a book that marked my adventure curiosity that he spent that I could follow from the two books that I really liked that I wanted to see in the future but Alex's adventure I really liked his story
but just answer me it is likely or not likely that there may be a continuation she returned the character's story a little more for all of us always following the life of Alex from his friends and family was an amazing and remarkable fantastic story that I liked and very um that taste I want more
in other words like a new adventure for Alex new situations new dangers and new twists Thank you so much I just have to thank you for your wonderful work these books I will keep very fondly
@Marcio Santos: In terms of direct follow-ups or side stories to Werewolf Tale, I don't believe so. There's only so much I felt I could do with Alex and Shane without dipping into situations where things would have to get straight-up nuts or come across like the situation was forced to get some kind of plot.
So leaving their stories to just these two books is probably for the best.
The setting these two books take place in isn't off the table though, so another werewolf protagonist might be the route I take down the road.
I understand then you prefer to leave the character Alex aside and create another character is because we all get attached to Alex the charismatic character altruistic fun that we all like him is a character that won us over is a great sadness to know that ah this character that will leave us a lot of nostalgia and a squeeze in the hearts of us all
@Marcio Santos: Yep. All told, I had fun telling Alex's story. We'll see if those that follow him reach the same level of memorable.
I understand and understand But maybe one day you want to make the character Alex have a spin-off like a story outside the main of the book like this is that one day this book of yours can win a version of winning a series, an animation or even a film imagine those possibilities would be incredible if it really happened it would be wonderful
because I've seen several story books that won spin-off being a story outside the main story and also several books that won versions for the cinema to hear or series even became animation and getting really cool was amazing
these adaptations of the books were very good, making a reference to the film The Chronicles of Narnia, which was a book and turned into a film, it was very good, and I am sure that one day your book will win these versions and it will be Spectacular and the Alex character come to life on screens or even become an animation will be wonderful
my last comment you said up there that it will not continue the character Alex and Shane that you said that you will create a new werewolf character this I understood everything I understood in other words it will expand the universe of the book ????
thank you so much for everything for the great story you created and marked all of us I will be waiting for more of your work with new stories and new characters of your art I thank you very much I will continue to follow your incredible work
@Marcio Santos: I wouldn't subject Werewolf Tale to the screen treatment these days; too many badly made films/series, among other things. A manga however has been on my mind for years, and several USA properties have adapted the style, so maybe that if I can find the right artist.
Otherwise, Werewolf Tale's setting has more or less been explained by what Alex and Shane and Michael all went through. What would come next would have to be stories told through the eyes of others, if I can come up with enough ideas for them that justify another book or two.
And you're welcome. Glad to hear you enjoyed the story so much, and I'll do my best to keep it up as I go.
Thank you very much I will be happy and looking forward to your next piece of history that I loved I loved it I found it Spectacular incredible too good you are a super talented person you are formidable Congratulations
I loved the story because when I read the two books I felt that it felt like I was being transported into the story of the book and accompanied the characters that’s how I felt about the story I felt and for me this experience that I had It was incredible and wonderful
