Rick Hunter Hi Claire,
I find your take interesting. Would you please elaborate more on it? Or what part of the story do you have in mind to say that? I cannot think of any, since I read it a while ago. You know what they say. "No two persons ever read the same book".

Claire Because Dracula himself was all about death yet Lucy (light) lived at the end, and Dracula died, in a way, to me, thus killing death. Just my opinion.

Rick Hunter Interesting...I didn't see it from that point of view, but now I do. Another reader also brought up feminism into the novel - a topic I never thought about while reading Dracula. What did you thin of the end and why did you decide to read Dracula?
