Thanks for the response, Benelie. I'm not looking for action, just looking for something interesting. I've most recently read Blindness by Jose Saramago and a couple of David Mitchell titles. Those books are generally about relationships as well. I think what I am looking for is something that has interest on multiple levels. I just wasn't seeing that in this title so I bailed. Maybe the levels were there but were over my head.
