Ehehe, i am still figuring out Goodreads. That was supposed to be a review. Whoops.

It's still dumb that television of all things is causing the downfall of society. It's like "Oh, no one goes outside anymore! Everyone has turned into a brainless zombie just because they prefer things that don't require you to think too much." Like, no one has to be snobby and intellectual all the time! Why can't we have mindless entertainment for when we just want to escape and not think too much?

It's okay if you're new here. Welcome to the club. If I sounded harsh, I apologize. The whole memo is that there are about a thousand things that cause the downfall of society. The television is one large part of it, but also the fact that no one reads because no one wants to be offended is another large factor. I agree, no one has to be snobby and intellectual all the time, but the problem here is that people don't read and would rather watch TV all day every day. It's toxic and kills society. There's a lot of stuff like that. The idea is that comfort and convenience makes people soft and easily offended to the point of being depressed because their lives are purposeless, which is a fairly accurate description of how the world works.
