So the i just before the 'a' at the end is not pronounced then?
Thanks Michael. That has been bugging me for ages - and the pronunciation is very different to how I've been saying it in my head!
Ha! Funny answer. I remember hearing an interview with John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls relating something similar. He said if the band had known they'd actually become popular, they would have chosen a better name.
The name glossary in the back includes the pronunciation of words like that.
The audiobook helped me with "Riyria" pronunciation :). But I did think that Esrahaddon was Ezra Haddon for a long while. The +/-s of fantasy audiobook pronunciations ;-)
@ Colin - I guess so...To be honest I didn't think too much about what characters were silent or not. Interestingly, when I put the six letters into a voice recognition software - it pronounced it the way I wanted.
@Peter - I'm sure it is -- to be honest though...feel free to keep the pronunciation the way you are familiar.
@Davis - yeah I hear similar comments from a number of people. You never know when things are going to really take off.
